Description

You can make these brownies with traditional ingredients as written, or make some tweaks and they easily become gluten-free. If you prefer a cake-like brownie texture, I have some tips for you, too: Chocolate is always a welcome addition – whatever the situation. Thanks to the many Cadbury sharing bags, you can take and share your favourite chocolatey treats wherever you go! With mini versions of your favourites, like Curly Wurly Squirlies and Twirl Bites, plus delicious treats like Oreo Bites and Chocolate Eclairs.

Melt to butter in the microwave or in a bowl over a pan of water. Leave to cool for a couple of minutes. We use just generic cocoa powder for this bake but you could use Cadbury cocoa powder if you wanted to add an extra level of Cadbury flavour. Also, instead of the chocolate chips you could use chopped Cadbury Dairy Milk too.Step 2: Using a 1 ½" cookie scoop, scoop out batter and arrange the cookie dough balls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake in preheated oven for 8 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.

One of the newest additions to their range, the Cadbury Plant Chocolate Bar takes that signature Cadbury taste and makes it suitable for vegans. Made with a high level of cocoa butter and almond paste, the vegan chocolate has no dairy and it completely plant based! Named after Dorothy Cadbury’s favourite flowers, Roses are a colourful and diverse range of chocolates that are perfect for sharing. Among them there are Tangy Orange Cremes, Country Fudges, Hazel Whirls and Dairy Milk Chunks to name a few. Super fudgy - For ultra gooey, super-duper fudgy brownies, remove them from the oven a few minutes early and let them cool in the pan. Just be careful they're not raw in the center!

Swap the Cadbury mini eggs for other chocolate mini eggs or candy such as M&M's. Chocolate chips would work too.

Cadbury Mini Eggs - These beautiful, colorful chocolate eggs are perfect for Easter! Use a combination of crushed and whole Cadbury eggs in the brownie batter and sprinkle more on top of the brownies for a delicious taste and a pretty look! This easy bake is such a wonderful Easter treat, full of Easter candy coated Cadbury eggs. It has the perfect brownie consistency, a nice and fudgy texture in the middle but crisp at the edges. Plus, it’s so simple to vary too. You could add any type of Easter eggs to the mix – any Easter chocolate eggs from the supermarket – and it’s a great way of using up leftover chocolate from Easter time too. How do you serve this Easter Brownie? Bake in the oven for 15 minutes before removing and adding the remaining Mini Eggs to the top of the bake. No mixer - This recipe is insanely easy. You don't even need a mixer! The batter comes together in minutes with just a whisk. They're in the oven in no time!Dark chocolate lovers will all know the name Bournville. This intensely dark bar is name after the town where Cadbury workers lived and has been in the Cadbury range for over a century. The bar’s red wrapper with gold font is beautiful – fitting, for one of the most iconic Cadbury bars! Flour - I use all-purpose flour for these brownies, but if you’re gluten-free, you can use gluten free 1-1 all purpose baking flour. You could chop of smash the Mini Eggs if you wanted and sprinkle Mini Egg pieces to the top of the bake but I love using whole ones and they slice really nicely in the bake too. It gives a really nice texture to the finished brownie. Because this is such a rich, flavoursome bake, I don’t add any vanilla extract to the mix. Also, unlike making more traditional cakes, as you melt the butter in this recipe it doesn’t need to be at room temperature. Six: Remove the cooled cake from the tin then spread the top of the cake with the smooth vanilla buttercream. I use a palette knife.

Vanilla - Pure vanilla extract is always better than imitation extract, for optimal flavor and deliciousness! Honestly, we just slice and eat these chocolate brownies, it never lasts long in our house! You could also serve the Easter Brownies warm with custard or a ball of ice cream on top and it’s perfect to make for an Easter bake sale or as part of an afternoon tea spread. You really cannot beat fudgy brownies. One: Cream together the softened butter and sugars until light and fluffy. You can use a wooden spoon or an electric mixer. Measuring dry ingredients - To avoid dry and cakey brownies, measure your flour and cocoa powder using a baking scale or the scoop and level method. Never scoop your measuring cup directly into the bag of flour or you'll use too much! Three: Fold in the flour and crushed mini eggs. Make sure the mini eggs are crushed into very small pieces otherwise they will sink to the bottom of the cake. Gluten-free - Instead of all-purpose flour, use a gluten-free 1:1 all-purpose flour blend. Cadbury mini eggs are gluten-free, so just swap out the flour and you're all set! Remember not to over-mix the batter.
