If the pros and cons of assorted lubes and vibrators are of interest, it’s difficult to imagine you’re going to find more practical advice, and for the more general reader there’s a fair amount to entertain, just possibly not enough. The creators of the wildly popular and educational web-comic Oh Joy Sex Toy have brought together some of their best comics and some new ones that cover all of the basics when it comes to sex, intimacy and consent. As stated in the introduction, you didn't need to read the first 2 novels to read this one and I would agree with that. A solid compilation of a year's worth of OJST strips, though I think it will be interesting to see how the sex toy reviews age over time (especially since I'm reading this one four years after the fact). Led by Managing Editor Ari Yarwood, Limerence Press focuses on positive, diverse, and approachable books that reflect a wide variety of emotional and intimate experiences.

I’ve always appreciated Moen and Nolan’s use of different types of human beings from trans folks to those larger or smaller in size and shape. Probably the most interesting chapter was the conversation on how they were invited to be in an actual porn movie, going through the pros and cons.The book had a great deal of information on sensitive topics such as lady boners and HPV, and delivered it all in amusing and entertaining ways. Witty, comical and educational, Erika Moen brings another well illustrated sex positive book to print. Having created comics for well over a decade, her work has been published by Dark Horse, Image, Villard and Scholastic, among many others.

Reminded me a bit of the classic XXXenophile comics (yes, I mentioned them in my review of the first book as well. Hien puts his hands together, closes his eyes, and takes a breath as he starts to conclude his review. Fenrir the Wolfdragon (posted 2014 November 11) a review of two of Bad Dragon's Fenrir the Wolfdragon dildos. In addition to the strips that keep to the OJST mold, there are a few that serve straight up erotica--no product reviews or introductions to sexual subcultures, just consensual sex in fantasy settings. Obviously, the sex advice is wonderful, but above everything that makes these books so wonderful is Moen herself.There are plenty of non-sexual, sex-related topics covered and if I had to teach my theoretical child about something I have no experience with, say a UTI, Oh Joy Sex Toy is where I would go first. Either Moen and Nolan appear in every comic, talking the reader through the topic and giving the sense of recurring characters to the series while allowing the diverse maturbateers to show you how it’s done. Erika shares some brand new comics made exclusively for Volume one, as well as shares some behind-the-scenes information on OJST. There was a real sweet spot between clenching and relaxing, where the vibrations pulsed throughout my whole anus!
