I am really having a hard time organizing my thoughts around this figure, so I am probably just going to let the pictures do most of the talking. It's a really large figure, spread out its massive but in honesty you would display it that way, so it's big but doesn't require much space.

The head, in fact, is on a double ball joint - one up by the head, and the other down near the base of the neck! This incredible re-creation of the Spider Gremlin puppet seen in Gremlins 2: The New Batch features over 30 points of articulation, including the eight massive spider legs that are articulated in three places each. Each leg is articulated at several points, with additional joints at the arms, one in the body and at the jaw (all monster toys should get moving jaws!

The Spider Gremlin has a diameter greater than 12 inches from front to back and side to side, and, as you can see in the pictures, by the time you stand him up he will tower over most of the figures in your collection. A couple of years ago, something like this was deemed impossible, and we got a sloppy Berserker Predator. Their George and Daffy gremlins have been particularly nice, as has the Stripe mogwai, but you really cannot go wrong with any of them. The Spider Gremlin's hide transitions between reptilian scales and spikes and arachnid carapace so smoothly that you almost cannot tell where one starts and the other stops. I cannot decide if the sculpt or the paint applications are more impressive, but both of them are at the top of the heap for any action figure I have gotten recently.They were dropping on my head, dangling in front of my face, webbing up the toilet, crawling all over me. It's sad that the Gremlins line hasn't sold as well as fans (and NECA) hoped and thus the likelihood is that we'll never see such things as the female Gremlin or (my personal favourite) the Bat Gremlin. Once assembled (he comes in a box and needs to have his lower legs attached), he is absolutely stunning. I actually don't collect much in the 12"-18" range, so to me this thing is gigantic (I used to own the 36" Balrog figure, but that's cheating).

Also be sure to do this carefully as you could scratch off the paintwork if you apply too much pressure.
