This series has been on my tbr for a while. I've enjoyed a lot of Jaymin Eve and Tate James, but the title - Princess Ballot - was off-putting. I can't lie, though. It really wasn't what I expected at all.

During the credits, EVE and WALL-E are shown to be still together, holding hands as the two observe a large tree, which has grown from the same plant that WALL-E had discovered at the beginning of the film. Violets relationship with Alex seemed to develop out of nowhere for me. I saw no reason she would be interested in him besides him just declaring that she was his future wife and because of that, I really did not care about their relationship. His betrothed throws insults Violet's way before she's barely in the door, and the headmaster's son does nothing to disguise his outright hatred for her despite not knowing a thing about her. Their aggressive behavior towards her would be enough to send anyone running, but Violet needs this opportunity more than she cares about their ignorant hostility.
