Description

The performance the all the Hyper guns are very similar, the Evolve seems to shoot a bit harder at up to 120 FPS. This awesome Hyper series blaster shoots Hyper Rounds, which are very similar to NERF’s Rival Rounds, but smaller and made of soft rubber—making this the hardest-hitting battery-powered motorized Nerf blaster there is! The Hyper Mach-100 is an automatic flywheel blaster with the most ammo capacity of any Hyper Nerf gun.

The Pillager's Crossbow isn't what we expected it to be. If anything, it's better. Even though it looks clunky and imprecise, this is a powerful blaster with enough range to give you a fighting chance in soft-play battle. Just like the Perses, this literal minigun shoots eight Rival Rounds per second at an insane 100 FPS! If you can't decide which Nerf blaster to get, why not opt for one that can do it all? Starting out as a pistol and scaling up to a full-size assault rifle, the Retaliator has four configurations for greater personalization. It's the pièce de résistance of modular design and is one of the best Nerf guns thanks to that 'more is more' mentality. There is simple pleasure in Pump-Action NERF guns, the smooth pump and shoot game style is straightforward and never fails to give a thrill of excitement as you offload rounds at your opponents. The NERF Hyper Siege 50 is perhaps the perfect compromise between the Mach 100 and the Rush 50 – this isn’t an automatic blaster but with a slightly higher ammo capacity than the Rush it’s perfect for anyone looking for a bit more out of the Hyper series.

Final Thoughts

If you want the pump style of the Siege with the ammo capacity of the Mach, the new Nerf Hyper Evolve-100 is perfect for you. The Elite 2.0 Phoenix easily takes the prize for the best budget battery-powered nerf gun, but don’t let that fool you. This gun is a true gem that is highly customizable and very similar to the fan-favorite Stryfe!

One downside is that Hasbro didn’t make the grip space between the trigger and rails big enough. You can’t to get two hands on it and will have to hold the bottom or front of the tactical rails for additional control.

Hyped for Full Auto?

The Hyper series is a relatively new type of blaster that fire Hyper Rounds, which are small balls made of soft rubber—similar to the Nerf Rival Series. But don’t worry, they don’t necessarily hurt, but you’ll definitely feel them more than typically Nerf rounds. It was initially leaked in March of 2020 through online retailers. [2] It was officially announced on February 25, 2021. [1] Trivia [ ]

Each of these foam-slinging blasters is enough to give the enemies your future Nerf battles permanent trauma and will forever live in their nightmares. Nerf Hyper : Because they're pellets rather than darts, these won't work in anything that isn't a Hyper blaster. You may have wondered, “What is so special about being the smallest? The Hyper Fuel is a bit smaller than the Rush, but it slings with the same power at 110+ feet per second. NERF HYPER ROUNDS AND LARGE HOPPER WITH 100-ROUND CAPACITY: Blaster comes with 80 Nerf Hyper rounds. Large, easy-load hopper can hold up to 100 rounds (additional rounds sold separately)

For example, Nerf Elite darts are terrible at high speeds. This is because they are made of very lightweight foam and are rather long, which causes them to osculate at higher speeds fly in whichever direction they see fit. For a powerful and accurate shot, you want to ideally use shorter darts that are more stable. Final Thoughts The Perses has an insane fire rate of 8 rounds per second at 100 fps, which means you can blow your entire hopper of 50 balls in about 7 seconds! As we discussed early in the guide, there are two main factors that influence the power of a Nerf gun: FPS and the type of ammo that you are firing. A common issue with all the Nerf Hyper guns is that the ammo is a little gummy and can clog a bit in the hoppers. Rival blasters have some similar issues with jams in the hoppers, but it isn’t quite as bad.

Nerf Elite: Bog-standard Nerf darts. They're compatible with almost everything that isn't an Ultra, Hyper, or Rival blaster. It has impressive ranges that compare to the best Rival blasters, but it is way less consistent. To be accurate, your target will have to be within 15-20 feet max.
