Extra old and particularly good single malt from Bowmore, independently bottled by Douglas Laing for its Xtra Old Particular series. The whisky produced at Bowmore has its own individual character, which is largely down to the distillery’s proximity to the coast. Just 194 bottles were released, after maturing for 25 years between June 1996 and March 2022, in a single refill hogshead.
