You get SBC and AAC support here, making it a better option for iPhone owners compared to the Elite 3. The Anker are well-suited for the daily commute and working in the office, since they’re better at blocking out ambient noise, leak less audio, and have a longer battery life. As you can see in the picture, the fit is absolute perfect and cause no discomfort at all for long hours which is something the life P2 did. The person on the other end may not be able to hear you if you use them to talk on the phone in a loud place like a subway station. Their charging case feels quite sturdy, so it should take a few drops and bumps without sustaining much damage.

As of August 19, 2022, a total of 923 readers have rated the above mic sample as somewhere between “okay” and “good. The Soundcore Life Dot 2 are a pair of affordable true wireless earbuds that offer a staggering 100 hours of total playtime thanks to their charging case.

They come with a pretty broad selection of ear tips and stability sleeves, which helps with finding a comfortable, secure seal.

But best case, you spend some time messing with the different sizes and find the perfect ones for your ears. After 5 seconds you will hear the earbud power on and enter Bluetooth pairing mode with a soft jingle after the battery status announcement.

So there is always an extra rearranging step to get them in properly, and if I don’t do it they might not charge properly. The build quality on both the case and the earbuds are great and they seem to be quite durable small impacts here and there. It lacks Bluetooth multipoint, a good microphone, practical playback and volume controls, and the bud design is likely to put some people off. Their soundstage is perceived as small and inside your head, which is typical of headphones with an in-ear design. It's a bit bulky compared to the cases that come with many other truly wireless earbuds, but it's not too heavy considering the big battery inside.

The charging case for the Life Dot 2 earbuds is pretty hefty and has some weight to it as it provides a total of 100 hours of listening before needing to be plugged in – but I’ll get onto the battery specifics later on during the review. Stable Connection: The latest Bluetooth 5 technology ensures a stable connection for clear, skip-free music. This isn’t too much of a problem with these earbuds as quite a bit of it is covered up with the AirWings, but it is something to consider. You may want to take a look at the JBL Tune 125TWS Truly Wireless if you want a pair of truly wireless headphones that have a more neutral sound profile with a bit of extra bass. I currently have the “Anker SoundBuds Slim Bluetooth Earphones” but find the wire and control between them really frustrating so looking to get some that fits as well in the ear but won’t fall out.Thumping Bass: Spirit Dot 2’s diamond-coated driver is surrounded by an elastic, bass-maximizing material to increase bass output by up to 100%. For our objective tests we make sure to play music at a constant output of 75 dB until the battery dies.

The Anker Soundcore Life Dot 2 Truly Wireless are slightly better for mixed usage than the TOZO T12 Truly Wireless. It is worth noting that the battery life of the headphones themselves is still the same as many other models at around a claimed 7 hours. Once you find the right size of stability sleeves and ear tips, they shouldn’t fall out of your ears, even during intense workouts. On the other hand, the Life Dot 2 are a bit cheaper, have a much longer total battery life, and marginally better noise isolation performance. Some improvements I would give would be to add touch sensitive buttons as for these I need to press a physical button which wedges the earbuds more into my ear which can feel uncomfortable at times. The Samsung Galaxy Buds+ Truly Wireless are better truly wireless headphones for mixed usage than the Anker Soundcore Life Dot 2 Truly Wireless. Now you can go into the Bluetooth settings on your second device and connect to the Anker Soundcore Spirit Dot 2 earbuds. The Mpow M30 Truly Wireless and Anker Soundcore Life Dot 2 Truly Wireless are similarly performing truly wireless headphones.
