One of the things that doesn’t get enough attention? Is what the joints are made of. And this harness does not compromise it at all. The fittings, the relative sizing of the parts and their positioning on the dog’s body are designed to ensure maximum comfort in any situation. Haqihana harnesses are made of a soft, spun dried nylon using a special stitching to avoid rubbing, particularly suitable for short coated dogs.

Pressure is properly distributed on the dog’s sternum and thorax only, even when he is pulling. Personally, I love the minimalism of this design. To me, simple design minimises opportunity for problems, as a system is only as strong as it’s weakest point. But it may make it not an option for you and I realise that!The carefully studied sizes and the five point adjustment guarantees optimal wearability and adaptability of the harness for all dog sizes and morphology. When they did, I was a little cautious because it looks pretty spartan, and I’m often not a huge fan of harnesses that aren’t padded, and don’t have multiple points – but I do like ‘long body’ harnesses that give really good freedom, and this fell into that category. So… I looked agreed to test it out. Wearability means the feeling an item of clothing is a perfect fit, giving smartness and comfort which, together with the ease and natural fitting, ensures acceptability for the dog who will be happy to wear something comfortable that does not irritate and is not painful in any situation. The webbing is made with high tenacity spun-dyed nylon-6 which guarantees colour homogeneity and resistance. The special characteristics of nylon (polyamide) make it particularly suitable for a harness and leash production. In fact, amongst synthetic fibbers nylon is well known for its softness, optimal strength-to-weight ratio, abrasion resistance and chemical and biological stability. Finally, it is fully recyclable.
