In my writing, I combine all of these elements with the themes of redemption, forgiveness, and the transformative power of goodness. When I first read about this fabulous couple and their history and present story I was overwhelmed, especially when they had their HEA. Sylvain was building the set up for the plot, inserting a mysterious element that was very interesting to watch, everything was progressing and happening and suddenly, when I pressed next, it was over.

This book was such a good addition, a beautifully written addition to this amazing and wonderful series! I'm not really sure how I feel about this one, I love the characters and the story wasn't bad but I felt like something was missing.Both Gabriel and Julia have a lot going on in their careers and personal lives and circumstances are always on the verge of causing problems. I’ve been reading your series, Gabriel’s Inferno for quite a while now and there’s only one thing that came to mind and that is the sensuality of each character. Moreover, all that unnecessary drama that was brought on just for the sake of the drama made this novel look cheap in comparison with the perfection that were first three books. I’m hoping that the author will let Gabriel and Julia ride into the sunset to live happily ever after and end the series on a high note. I love learning more about Italian culture and art but it was just too complicated for me to follow everything. I was hesitant to read this book in the first place, that is the reason, why I am reading it so far after they released it. I try to use my platform as an author to raise awareness about the following charities: Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Foundation, WorldVision, Alex's Lemonade Stand, and Covenant House. So when it was announced that “Gabriel’s Promise” would be published, my excitement went into overdrive.From both Julianne and Gabriel’s exes, to the jealousy of colleagues and former friends, threats to Gabriel, Julianne and their daughter Clare force Gabriel to take drastic measures to protect the woman and child he loves. To sum it up, I loved getting to revisit this couple, but I wasn't sold on the suspense, especially with how it was left. But when a frightening situation happens at home, Gabriel is thinking about declining to go to Scotland so he can keep Julia and Clare safe. If it weren't a Sylvain / Gabriel book, I am not sure if I would have kept on reading, however I knew it would be worth it to keep going. For those who have read the „Florentine series” there were a lot of clues and points to connect, which made the reading very delectable.
