Serious cinephiles likely to consider getting their QN95C professionally calibrated might want to note that the set supports the premium version of Samsung’s Smart Calibration system, where the TV can essentially calibrate itself to a near-professional standard using nothing more than a recent smartphone.

The extreme sharpness of the QE65QN94A seems to be down to a combination of the set’s Neo Quantum 4K processing, extreme colour range and refinement, and fine light management. Samsung is also extending its Multi-View feature, which allows you to display multiple sources at once in a split-screen format. It's going to be available on all models from the AU9000 upwards, with 4K models supporting two windows and 8K models supporting four. In our QN95A review we noted disappointing limitations to this feature, though – of the two windows, one has to be an external source and the other has to be an app, but currently only two apps (YouTube and wellness app called Calm) are supported, severely hampering its usefulness. Here's hoping more apps are made compatible in the near future.Gaming is now a huge part of any high-end TV’s potential duties, so it’s good to see Samsung pushing the boat out with a host of game-related new features. The QE65Q95A is the first TV from any brand, for instance, to support FreeSync Premium Pro – AMD’s system for delivering a better HDR as well as variable refresh rate experience. Regardless, the QN94A has the same depth as the QN95A model that comes with the external One Connect box. In the past, the One Connect box indicated the TV was slimmer than its similarly attired cousins. While that’s not the case here, the One Connect box does bring meaningful differences that I’ll get to later on. Dimensions, weight and color Information about the dimensions and the weight of the specific model with and without stand as well as the colors, in which it is offered to the market. Width

The spectacular impact of the QE65QN95A’s pictures is extended by their sharpness, too. Native 4K sources look immaculate: dense, crisp, clean and richly textured. The set’s enhanced contrast seems to add a touch more definition, too, while its colour management is subtle enough to combine the pure sharpness with complementary levels of colour subtlety. Especially since Samsung’s latest processor removes almost all signs of banding noise from fine blends.Dynamic is the more lurid option, with its blue tint but bolder and more vivid colours, while Natural exacerbates greens and whites, and Standard is the most balanced out of the three. Standard isn’t as punchy as Natural, which I feel is more suited to sports – but I prefer a more balanced and natural-looking image. Despite the fact that QE65QN95A’s version of Mini-LED don’t run into the thousands of potential dimming zones the technology is hyped as being capable of, it still delivers a substantial picture quality improvement over all previous Samsung LCD TVs. Maybe over all previous LCD TVs, period. Approximate diagonal size of the display. If the manufacturer does not provide such information, the diagonal is calculated from the width and height of the screen.
