As he grows into a young man, falling in love and taking classes at the prestigious Conservatoire de Paris, he can almost forget the terrors of his past, or the promise he has vowed to keep. But across Europe an evil is rising, and no-one’s safety is certain. In his heart, he knows the time will come where he must flee once more.

I'm sad that Lucinda Riley could not finish her series herself, but I think her son did an excellent job in finishing it off as per her plans. Hurrah for a fabulous literary journey. The second listen was much better, but I agree with another reviewer that Pa Salt has turned out to be much weaker of character in some ways than his story suggested. They could, should have had one of those shallow talks with the guy, pulled him in a group hug and forgive him. That would have made a way more satisfactory end. In a video posted on his social media on Christmas Eve 2022, co-author of the last Seven Sisters book, Atlas: The Story of Pa Salt, Harry Whittaker reveals to readers what they can expect from the highly-anticipated final book.

Who is Pa Salt?

The final novel in The Seven Sisters series is here. Narrated by Richard Armitage and Tuppence Middleton. As he grows into a young man, falling in love and taking classes at the prestigious Conservatoire de Paris, he can almost forget the terrors of his past, or the promise he has vowed to keep. But across Europe an evil is rising, and no-one's safety is certain. In his heart, he knows the time will come where he must flee once more. Anyway, I thought it would be good to start up a thread where people can raise any questions that they want to find the answers to in the final book. I’ve been noting mine down for a while now, and I’m posting them all as separate comments below. If you want to discuss any of the questions, and your expectations or theories for how it will be answered, go ahead! If you have other questions, add them!

Now that most people have had at least a week (or 5, depending on your language) to read the seventh book, it seems like a great time to start to theorise a bit more on what comes next. Just finished Atlas: The Story of Pa Salt.......or more accurately I've just finished ugly crying after finishing A:TSoPS! Maia: “I just had the most incredible dream! Speaking of which, do you know why Pa Salt decided to adopt us all?” The Missing Sister was a bit disappointment to me, as it raised more questions than it gave answers to. I was very looking forward to the closing part of this amazing series. I have to say I am not disappointed. It was well thought through and every loose end was cut. I was so caught up with the story that I couldn't even tell which parts were not written by Lucinda herself. Her son did an amazing job!

What are the other books in the Seven Sisters series?

Maia: “Actually, don’t worry, those don’t sound like normal things that parents would tell their children. Forget that I asked - I should be off translating a story anyway.” Her books have been nominated for numerous awards, including the Italian Bancarella Prize, the Lovely Books Award in Germany, and the Romantic Novel of the Year Award. In 2020 she received the Dutch Platinum Award for sales over 300,000 copies for a single novel in one year - a prize last won by J. K. Rowling for Harry Potter. We can now confirm that Atlas: The Story of Pa Salt will be published around the world in spring 2023, co-written by Harry Whittaker. Lucinda and Harry worked closely together on The Guardian Angels series for children. Harry writes: ‘Mum has passed on the secrets of the series, and I will keep my promise to her in sharing them with her loyal readers. Rest assured that in spring 2023, the whole world will know just who Pa Salt is and why he adopted the sisters.’ We thank those of you who have allowed us the space to grieve, and those who have donated so generously to Mary’s Meals . – Lucinda’s family

Viskas paslaptis atskleista. Ir kaip jaučiamės? Yes, Atlas: The Story of Pa Salt is the final book in the series. But not necessarily saying the Seven Sisters universe is ending…” This book spans roughly 80+ years and many continents, so as expected it is full of drama. I love the premise of this series and although it requires the reader to throw plausibility out the window, overall it is an entertaining series and this final installment concluded with all of my questions being answered. That being said, I struggled a bit with a few of the plot points, but even more so with the dialogue which was unrealistic and felt robotic especially in the current timeline particularly the conversations between the sisters, but I also had this issue with the dialogue in “The Missing Sister”. Also glad I watched - and would recommend you watch - Harry's recap of the seven previous books to remind you of who was who and where and when! There is surprisingly not too much rehashing in this novel. This is a very very special series, one I will never forget; I can’t ever imagine finding another that will live up to it.

This story starts with Pa Salt as a child and follows his life story across the world. It reveals everything by way of a diary he left behind. Make no mistake, this book is long and slow paced, you get given tiny bits of information at a time. Pa Salt is a character who amassed a fortune but towards the end of his life, the sisters realise they hardly know much about him, so this book is the story of how he became the man he is and what motivated him to adopt the girls. Each one from a different part of the world and one Sister in particular held his heart for reasons that will become clear….I receive thousands of reader letters a year, asking me to reveal the secrets of the series – where is the missing sister? Is Pa Salt actually alive? Who is Pa Salt and why did he adopt his daughters in the first place? As an expected and hoped, Atlas: The Story of Pa Salt is big, dramatic and astounding. We travel through times of loss, tragedy, war, turmoil and uncertainty. Many people are touched by Pa Salt and we learn who made an impact on this larger-than-life character. From continent to continent and different oceans, we bear witness to the keynote events that shape the unforgettable man known as Pa Salt. Whittaker and Riley takes us through moments of despair, loss, charity, connection, friendship, opportunity, love, survival, fate, chance, adventure, tragedy and triumph. Sometimes you need to surrender to the magic of it all as Whittaker and Riley capture the essence of the real Pa Salt via his eventful journal entries filtered through this incredible narrative. There is however a wonderful. story weaving all the other books together, so I'm trying to give Harry and the editors the benefit of doubt and enjoy the book despite the flaws.
