Storm is a pretty rare German, English, and Dutch surname that is a direct reference to storms and weather. Luna Madison is a 2022-introduced all-around character and is a student at Shadow High that focuses in Film. She talks to Luna a few times and they seem to smile at each other and have good energy, hinting that they are friends. Sunny's hairstyle is likely a reference to the "Odango" hairstyle popularized by the title character of the anime Sailor Moon.

The web series was complemented with spin-offs premiering every other week; looking at the activities and adventures of Rainbow High in the eyes of Violet Willow with her show, " The Vi Life" (pronounced " vie life"), and Karma Nichols with her show, " Kontent with Karma" with the latter debuting on 16 April 2021. Throughout the day, she continued to stay by Amaya's side and attempted to steer her away from awkward encounters.

Each of the original dolls included two outfits and a doll stand, while the dolls themselves featured inset eyes and thirteen points of articulation. Though she can come off as high-strung and boisterous, Sunny simply has an expressive personality and a strong enthusiasm for the things she loves. Veronica comes dressed in a tweed purple and black oil slick feathered sleeved jacket, lace and leatherette top, tweed, and sequins skirt, over the knee metallic socks, studded heels, purse with eyelets details, and bold accessories.Sunny's closest friend is Violet, as the two have been close since childhood, their moms are friends, so they've known each other forever. She's passionate about filming and would retake shots until she's satisfied with it, as seen in the animated series. The lettering on the denim jacket from her secondary outfit is a reference to a pattern featured in many clothing pieces by Dior, a French luxury goods company. She also always sticks by her sister's side, with them often teaming up to cause trouble and chaos and brag about her school and it’s achievements.

Naomi looks fierce in her fur jacket with an oil-slick pattern and studs, matching top and shirt, knee-high boots, a stunning clutch with the letters SH (Shadow High), and more unique accessories! She also wears a matching pencil skirt with silver buttons, tall latex like iridescent black knee-high socks, and black and purple oil slick high heel Mary Jane boots. Though these dolls bear some resemblance to the eventual Rainbow High dolls, they are scaled up and have painted eyes rather than inset eyes. As a cheerleader, Sunny wears a cropped hoodie with yellow and white sections separated by a yellow-and-black chevron stripe across the midsection and the word "SPARKLE" written across her shoulders in bold, black lettering. Luna's whole family has gone to Rainbow High, so her decision to go to Shadow High is extra potent in her life- she's always trying to prove to herself that she really belongs there.

In her artwork she has straight pigtails, unlike Sunny who has wavy pigtails in her Series 1 artwork. The front section of her hair is tied up into a half up half down pigtail style, with two loose tendrils. Despite the pranks and the hijack live stream, Sunny does try to rekindle their relationship by waving at her in the Shadow High Auditorium for the host-off competition, and again during The Royal Three's performance, where she peaks out of the corner and gives her a smile. They are seen talking to each other and Nicole has helped her with projects and such, and they have also been seen sitting together.

April 1st, 2022: Luna makes her speaking debut in the episode " Not A Typical Day", where she also debuts with Naomi and Veronica Storm. Far from her sweetheart on-camera persona, Naomi is temperamental — you’d better run when you see her coming.Unfortunately, the energy around them heightens so intensely, that they often feel more comfortable being apart from each other. Her hair is crimped and tied back into two twintails with golden ribbons, and her makeup is much more dramatic than usual, with golden, sparkling eyeshadow, white liner, and pink lipstick. Sunny's second outfit consists of a cropped golden bustier top and a pair of pastel yellow skinny jeans with distressed panels across the legs decorated with golden sequins on the inside.
