Description

With a one-to-one MIDI mapping, each control on your Nanokey2 can only be assigned to a single parameter in Ableton Live. Even though Intro and Standard are both effective, Suite offers a lot more, including 70GB of library sounds, compared to Standard's 10GB. Korg's Nanokey2 is an exceptionally flexible midi keyboard and is a powerful tool when is used with Ableton Live.

However I’m not much of a natural pianist and (weirdly) I actually feel more at home drawing envelopes than I do fiddling with physical knobs, so in the balance I didn’t think I had that much to lose. For quick recordings of ideas, sample playback or backing keys (like string chords or such in the background) this is fantastic! In the ‘MIDI’ section of this tab, make sure the ‘Track’ and ‘Remote’ boxes are checked for both the Input and Output of the Nanokey2 (Sync can also be optionally checked). In this way, consumers give each other guidance and give us the opportunity to continuously improve.

By combining the great-feeling 'touch that Korg has developed for its professional MIDI keyboards and the low-profile 'thinness' of recent computer keyboard innovations, the nanoKEY2 provides a superior keyboard response for its class and size. For enhanced performances, the nanoKEY2 also provides Pitch Bend buttons, a Modulation button, and a Sustain button - one that's indispensible for piano or electric piano performance. Yes, traditionally-trained pianists will hate its rather bizarre northward transposition of the black keys, but I’ve found their awkward-looking arrangement on the NanoKEY2 actually makes sense.Support services such as technical support or upgrade support for this product are provided according to the support service policies of Korg’s distributors applicable in each country. The touch and velocity response have been carefully tuned, as only a manufacturer with Korg's track record and know-how can, ensuring that your expressive performance will be conveyed accurately to your software. If Third Party Software has been supplied (whether in conjunction with any Korg instrument or equipment, or as a stand-alone product) a notice to that effect will be contained with or on the disk supplied and in such circumstances Korg shall be deemed to be acting as the agent only of the supplier of such Third Party Software.

THE FOLLOWING IS THE SOFTWARE LICENSING AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU, THE END USER, (REFERRED TO IN THIS AGREEMENT AS “YOU” OR “YOUR”) AND KORG INC.Saving space by getting rid of useless knobs the nanoKEY2 packs all you need in the control buttons on the left. This tiny keyboard will never replace any serious instrument, but it’s still very useful for entering a few midi notes into yor daw or, as I mainly use it, for checking out and adjusting software sounds before I move to my 88 key Roland for recording. Consequently, I recently took the decision to downsize from my (already pretty dinky) Maudio Oxygen 25 to a Korg NanoKEY 2.
