Other features of CDH 1411 include individually selectable timecode burn-in, closed-caption burn-in, 16-channel audio metering, safe area markers, and metadata display. An optional fibre interface allows the module to be used for monitoring fibre connections and also function as a SDI to fibre converter. When a fibre transceiver option is fitted the module may be used with either an electrical SDI input or a fibre input signal, selected by a DIP switch. The module will provide both a fibre and electrical SDI output of the selected input signal as well as the HDMI output.
