Stagecoach may, at its own discretion, refuse a Student entry to a Stagecoach Activity or session of a Stagecoach Activity if it is felt that the Student's behaviour is unacceptable Where a new Student is attending a Course for the first time, subject to availability, Stagecoach allows a two (2) session trial period ("Trial Period") so that the Student may try the first two (2) sessions of the Course. The Trial Period only applies to Courses for new Students and the two (2) trial sessions must be taken consecutively within the first four (4) weeks of the start of the Term.

Book - A book is the script, made up of dialogue between characters as well as stage directions for how lines should be delivered. By enrolling your child at Stagecoach, you accept these terms and conditions ("Terms & Conditions") and sign your agreement to them as an ongoing agreement between you and Stagecoach ("Agreement"). People who have read both of these books will agree that you can't have one without the other. This is a two-book set. If you cancel a Student's place on a Holiday Workshop/Camp or Course outside of the Cancellation Period and within seven (7) calendar days before the commencement of the Holiday Workshop/Camp or Course, the Deposit will be retained by Stagecoach and you will be required to pay the full balance of the fee.Deontae “Simp” Wright has big plans for his future. Plans that involve basketball, his best friend, Rollie, and making enough money to get his mom and four younger brothers out of the Cove, their low-income housing project. The Phantom of the Opera has cemented its place in Broadway history as an iconic musical, but its roots go much farther than Andrew Lloyd Webber’s 1986 masterpiece. This definitive account of The Phantom of the Opera recounts the history of the work from its historical origins to Gaston Leroux’s classic novel that inspired Webber’s version, as well as the story’s other incarnations in between. All of this is supplemented with beautiful photography that include images from the production itself.

Recounting the development of the American musical comedy genre, this history is as entertaining as the song-and-dance productions it describes. The book features musical legends including Florenz Ziegfeld, Harold Prince, Bert Lahr, Gwen Verdon, Angela Lansbury, Victor Herbert, Liza Minnelli, and Stephen Sondheim, and explores shows with staying power like Anything Goes , Show Boat , Oklahoma! , Follies , and Chicago , to offer a rich account of a beloved but often overlooked American staple. Lee is best known for her biographies of Virginia Woolf, Edith Wharton and Penelope Fitzgerald, but she brings her capacity for exhaustive research and perceptive analysis to Stoppard and the result is highly revealing. By linking the plays and the life, she shows that Stoppard, often characterised as the ideas man of British theatre, is a complex romantic rather than a cerebral gymnast: works such as Jumpers, Arcadia and In the Native State pulsate with emotion. Lee also reminds us that, as a “bounced Czech”, Stoppard initially idealised his adopted country but now feels the need to write “obsequies for the England we have mislaid”. Because it's so well-made and easy to use, I choose this book over the more detailed ones more often. Zadan is clearly a fan of Sondheim, but he doesn't let that get in the way of telling the truth (and sometimes blunt honesty). The book ends with appendices that are very well-organized and give a lot of information about major productions of Sondheim's work. There are also a lot of great pictures from Sondheim shows that are worth mentioning. On the Street Where I Live by Alan Jay Lerner

Until the day she hears that laugh– his laugh–pouring out of the car radio. Going against Momma’s wishes, Maybelle starts listening to her radio DJ daddy’s new show, drinking in every word like a plant leaning toward the sun. When he announces he’ll be the judge of a singing contest in Nashville, she signs up. What better way to meet than to stand before him and sing with all her heart? And all this doesn’t even include the freak swing set accident, the fears inside his head, or the funniest class presentation ever. Nimra’s nervous, but as long as she has Jenna, her best friend who already goes to the public school, she figures she can take on just about anything.Peter and the Starcatchers by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson If you love Peter Pan and Finding Neverland , you’ll adore the book Peter and the Starcatchers . This work by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson is one of my favorites . It’s an imagining as to how Peter Pan, Neverland, and the rest of its inhabitants got their magic. The play Peter and the Starcatcher is also fantastic with its fast pace and incredible humor. The play and novel differ slightly in their styles and plots, but at their cores, they reflect and complement each other nicely. If you can both see the play and read the book like I have, please do. You won’t regret either experience. The liability of Stagecoach and that of its staff is restricted to class time only and then only to gross negligence. Which of these middle-grade books about music and musical theater have you read? And which ones did I miss? I’m always happy to add your lovely recommendations to my TBR and I know other readers find them useful as well!

From his fabulous birth and childhood to his quest for true love and infamous parade of ex-boyfriends, this musical is the story of Tiny Cooper’s life – and it’s the perfect melody of honesty, humor, and heart. The Agreement is made between the parent/guardian ("Parent", "you" or "your") of each enrolled student ("Student") by a Parent and Stagecoach Performing Arts Limited ("Stagecoach", "we", "our", "us") (trading as Stagecoach Performing Arts) and is valid at all times whilst the Student is enrolled on any Stagecoach activity and until such time as written notice is given in accordance with these Terms & Conditions. But the road to Nashville is bumpy. Her starch-stiff neighbor Mrs. Boggs offers to drive her in her RV. And a bully of a boy from the trailer park hitches a ride, too. These are not the people May would have chosen to help her, but it turns out they’re searching for things as well. And the journey will mold them into the best kind of family–the kind you choose for yourself.

No one, and I mean NO ONEwrites about musical theatre more passionately and more eloquently than Ethan Mordden. In fact, any theatre historian should devote themselves to reading his"by the decade" installments that explore musical theatre. His writing will make you feel like you have seen every single one of these shows; his details and his imagery are so plentiful. However, if you haven't the time to invest in this glorious series, settle for Broadway Babies whichstrivesfor the same effect, but iscompactly written in one book. This was my introduction to Morrden's writing and I was hypnotized by how he described musicals such as Nine and Dreamgirls, which until I read his book, I had a hard time envisioning onstage.
