Each menu item is identified by a voice announcement (prompt) and enabling a feature or executing any command is done by tapping the Phone button; disabling a feature is done by tapping the Jog Dial. The user has ten seconds in which to make a setting choice, with the system reverting to standby after that time if there is no input. The intercom also has the latest Sena updated electronics and firmware, very similar to the other new generation Sena systems, the Sena SMH10R (review) and Sena 10U (review). The 10S intercom module is weather-resistant, but not waterproof, which means it should be fine for rain use but not total immersion.
