Lavender is also known to repel moths so consider using a scented drawer liner that is filled with dried lavender. If you find moths in your closet, it is likely either Tineola bisselliella, the web-forming clothes moth, or Tinea pellionella, the case-making clothes moth. I say this with a strong caveat that you should also be doing other moth prevention activities like regularly vacuuming your wardrobe and checking your garments, storing clothes away clean and in protective garment bags, and using moth repelling essential oils. If you have only caught one moth so far that could be good news and means that you do not have an infestation, but it could also be that it is due to where the moths are currently in their breeding cycle and therefore active adult moths are not flying around at this time.
