This is not only woody, aromatic and spicy, but a fresh spicy scent that always lifts and soothes the spirit at the same time. Utterly charming and mysterious perfume: musky tones, lovely flowers, a touch of vanilla, warm wood. Moschino sells now very trendy fragrances that I suppose more modern generations fancy and appreciate but this one was their best by far.

Warm, classic, and a beautifully balanced combination, neither exactly flowery, mossy, musky or animalic. Maybe there was something wrong with my purchase, but it was an overpowering smell of heavy flowers, with a very sharp opening.No offense to old ladies, Gardenia lovers, spicy marinara eaters or folks who clean their floors with Spic and Span. It also reminds me of Safari, the way the bitter of the galbanum interplays with the sweetness of the other notes. It is beautiful and green, not overblown as a chypre nor Oriental but a neutral perfume with neutral colors of light moss and beige.

My other favourite sandalwood is in Venice by Yves Rocher, they share similar qualities but Venice is sweeter, rounder, deeper and shyer. Moschino then takes its sweet time to slowly mellow into a more rounded "perfumey" fragrance (I see scents like 24Fauberg as having this rich, perfumey quality). Femme by Moschino is an enchanting and feminine fragrance that will add an extra dimension to your personal style.I do not get the comparisons of this to many of the other feminine perfumes that I have smelled above.
