I have to say the Nikolai is probably one of the best book husbands I’ve read about in quite some time. His reputation is understandably absolutely terrifying but Amara being his wife, he treated her like an absolute queen. Took the time to care for her, yet was ruthless to anyone that even looked at her wrong. Their lives and the relationship had changed the night that Inessa on a very rare nigh out with student friends had been at a club known as the “The Nymph”, where mermaids swam in a large pool and the patrons drank shots as they watched them swimming in the depths as mermaids. However, before we can think of the ending, Devani is committed to bringing down 10 of the most powerful and dangerous men in the world and it doesn’t matter to her that there are men from her own family involved. For the pain and suffering they e cost her family and friends, she has prepared for years how to bring them down and nothing will stop her, not even Sam. In “Ruthless Heir,” the first installment of the Ruthless Dynasty series by Sasha Leone, readers are plunged into a gripping world of dark mafia romance where passion, power, and peril collide. I can’t drag her into this vicious orbit. I’ve seen firsthand the danger that can so easily come to those we love, and even though I’d die to protect her, she deserves a life where there’s nothing to be protected from.

I love that Summer is portrayed as a survivor and fighter it comes out in droves throughout the story and made her completely relatable to myself.Because Noah isn’t the charming guy I thought he was. He’s the ruthless hitman for the Gianni family on a mission of revenge against my father. I also just really loved the relationship in this one. I loved how they were ready to do everything for each other and how dedicated to the other they were. I just love these kind of very possessive relationship in books and I loved how it was done in this book. I just couldn’t help but keep swooning because these two were just so great together. I absolutely loved the romance in this one, it was just the right kind of possessive for me.

I loved how everyone accepted both of them from the moment they step into their lives and support them. I loved the plot, characters and twists the only thing that bugged me was Summer keeping all the secrets. You could just feel Luc’s complete intensity and more than anything I fell in love with his protectiveness of Summer. This story felt even more realistic than the prior ones in the series I was excited to be introduced to even more families which I hope means the series will continue in one way or another for a long period of time. I almost DNF’d when I discovered it’s a misplaced revenge story. I primarily read dark romance with heavy leaning toward both mafia and bully tropes so misplaced revenge comes up often in my reading. Honestly, I’m a bit tired of it. That’s on me though, I chose to continue reading so I promised myself I wouldn’t let it mess with my rating or review.

Bianca is from a powerful mafia family and Gabriel is trying to take them down and his only way to do that is to marry Bianca. So he does just that and they start out as enemies but fall in love along the way. He enacts his vengeance with such seductive perfection, that by the time I realize what he’s done, I’m already dying. Yet, I'm so addicted to the pleasure of every cut, I’m not sure if I want to find a way out… I bow down to you Jenika Snow for such a spicy and delicious story! We met Nikolai in Arlo's book and the glimpses we get of him lead the reader to believe he is going to be a crazy one. He does not disappoint. The man is a ruthless killer that holds onto his reputation and status with an iron fist. There are very few people he cares about and when he enters into an arranged marriage to bring two sides together, he sees it as a means to an end. Little does he know that when he sees his betrothed for the first time she becomes everything to him and he would do anything to keep her safe and ONLY his. As each event happens it becomes clear that Summer might be in danger…but who from and will his new family support them in this fight?
