Prince Tangine is the future king, for serpent’s sake! He is ALWAYS invited,” the countess sang. “But remember, Amelia,” Count Drake added, “the prince’s mother DID get eaten by a fairy. I’d be surprised if the king ever lets him outside the palace walls.” Set in Nocturnia, Amelia and the rest of the Fang family are preparing to host the latest Barbaric ball the only annual event in Nocturnal only this time, the king and prince are attending too. A spook-tacular reading! Funny reading from Amelia Fang and the Memory Theif by Laura Ellen Anderson Contrary to popular belief, vampires don’t actually live on a diet of blood. It gives them very stinky breath!)

But even if Amelia and her friends do find Vincent, will they be able to find their way home? Or will they be trapped in the toad afterlife FOREVER? If you enjoyed Amelia's adventures so far, why not delve into AMELIA'S THIRD ADVENTURE... AMELIA FANG AND THE MEMORY THIEF In the Amelia Fang series, we follow the title character, a cute little vampire, and her friends in Nocturnia, where all things glittery and unicorn related are terrifying but blood and darkness are not! In book one, we are introduced to a whole host of brilliant characters from Amelia Fang to her pet pumpkin Squashy (he is so adorable!) as their world is turned upside down by the arrival of the spoilt Prince Tangine. However, all is not as it seems... Set in an unusual world full of eccentric characters, the series follows the funny adventures of a young vampire with a big heart, Amelia Fang, and her diverse gang of friends. Here, there are always wrongs that need righting, mysteries that need solving and creatures who need rescuing – but whatever the adventure, Amelia and her pals always manage to save the day in their own way.But not long after arriving, the precious glittery treasures of the ancient yetis start to go missing. And when Tangine goes missing too he becomes the prime suspect! Not only that but the tunnels of Yeti Mountain have started to collapse on themselves and it looks like Florence and her family will have to move far away. It's looking like the gang might never see each other again! Drake, my little sweat gland, are we expecting visitors?” Countess Frivoleeta said. “Wooo!” she called without waiting for her husband’s reply. “Please answer that immediately.” And when the King’s spoiled son Tangine captures Squashy, Amelia and her friends must escape the party to plan a daring rescue! In their race against time, they begin to realise things in Nocturnia may not be quite what they seem . . .

Absolutely darling! I can't believe I loved this story as much as I did but, by the end, I was absolutely hooked and kept thinking that if I ever have kids, I HAVE to read this to them! Also, believe it or not, there was also a twist to the plot that I WASN'T expecting in there, and that just brought the story up a whole nother level! Until she is asked to look after three very mischievous caticorns who make it their business to get Amelia in a world of trouble. The first in a series, this ghoulishly funny chapter book is full of fabulous gothic pen-and-ink illustrations and explores the importance of friendship. But whilst exploring, Amelia and the gang stumble upon an ancient curse – and are shrunk to the size of bugs! How will they make the bloodcurdlingly BIG journey to break the curse when they are all so very TINY?

Count Drake gave a long sigh. “Dearest belch-breath, it’s no use. He won’t see or speak to anyone anymore.” Philippa Tsang, Marc Schmidheiny and Christoph Daniels at DCM Pictures and executive producers on Amelia Fang said, “Amelia Fang is joyful, funny and at its heart, it is a show about embracing difference in our society.” Will Amelia be able to solve the mystery of the missing yeti treasure? And will she and her friends survive the perils of the crumbling Yeti Mountain and all the booby traps on the way? Welcome to the world of Nocturnia, where darkness reigns supreme, glitter is terrifying, and unicorns are the stuff of nightmares! Amelia Fang would much rather hang out with her pet pumpkin Squashy and her friends Florence the yeti (DON'T CALL HER BEAST!) and Grimaldi the reaper than dance at her parents' annual Barbaric Ball. When Amelia and her friends are invited to Florence's grandmother 350th birthday party, they are very excited! Grand-yeti Clemence lives in the Yeti Pits, a maze of candle-lit tunnels and caves carved into Yeti Mountain. And when the King’s spoiled son Tangine captures Squashy, Amelia and her friends must escape the party to plan a daring rescue! In their race against time, they begin to realise things in Nocturnia may not be quite what they seem … But that's not all! The bravest little vampire in the kingdom embarks on a BRAND NEW ADVENTURE discovering new worlds and new characters in the FOURTH book of the series...

Me?' said her father, stretching up his arms and revealing his potbelly. 'I've helped loads. I took my teacup . . .' He paused and smiled. 'And put it . . .' He looked serious. 'In the sink.' Countess Frivoleeta is planning the annual Barbaric Ball, THE annual event in Nocturnia. Amelia finds the ball boring – she wants to study Pumpkinology and help poorly pumpkins when she grows up. However, her mother thinks that she needs to learn vampires etiquette. Count Drake had fallen out with King Vladimir, but now he announces he will come to the ball, and will bring his son, Prince Tangine. When the spoilt prices kidnaps Squashy, it is up to Amelia to rescue her beloved pet pumpkin. It was useless for Amelia to try to speak to her mother about what she wanted. Being a Fang meant countless vampiress etiquette lessons, cobwebbing practice and never-ending preparations for the Barbaric Ball. Sometimes Amelia wished she belonged to a different family. Amelia Fang is doing her best to be nice to the Prince of Nocturnia but when he is so mean, not only to her but her friends Florence the Yeti and Grimaldi the Reaper, she struggles to keep being the friendliest vampire around!Drake, my darkness, you do know it’s our annual Barbaric Ball in just three nights?” Countess Frivoleeta cooed. “We still have invitations to send, catering to sort out and— oh, did you book the Howling Wolf Band?” Amelia sighed as a ghost floated into the room, carrying a tray of something that looked like a pile of big boogies. The series is inspired by the fang-tastic books written and illustrated by Laura Ellen Anderson, which have sold over half a million copies in the UK and have been translated into 24 languages. Ed Galton, ceo at Cake and executive producer on Amelia Fang said, “Amelia Fang is full of heart, warmth and big adventure.”
