Something that I can never do is put my eye shadows on and then finish with mascara because having such short, sparse, light eyelashes, majority of the mascara ends up on the eye shadow and then disaster hits. It's been that way since my teens so it's always mascara first for me. I will admit I am now nearly 65 too so am totally jealous when I see videos of people applying their mascara after applying their eye shadows.
