I can also say that cordura fabric is not that very durable as people put them out to be, I can just scratch the fabric with my nail and when I look at the fabric close-up it's broken up. This also explains the inconsistent slowing down of my pad during my entire use with it. Also, if you’re getting one of the bigger sizes, then you can expect the price to be higher than what I’ve mentioned here. Verdict Performance in this area followed a similar pattern to what I’ve already mentioned in the speed section. Lighter mice felt nicer and faster than the heavier ones, but they all worked pretty well on the pad. Speed is great, but it can also take some getting used to. One of the perks of using slower pads is the level of control you have while using your mice on them. The top is very strong, abrasive resistant, tear-resistant, and water-resistant. For something that’s going to be sitting in one spot more often than not, the chances of ruining it are slim to none.

Size: Medium mousepads are a popular choice among gamers because they offer a balance between space and portability. They provide enough room for smooth and precise mouse movements, allowing for greater control in games. The very first thing that stood out for me in the mousepad is the logo and the label. In my opinion, and bear in mind that this does not affect the performance, I would love the logo and the text to be smaller. Nowadays, a lot of people want to crate their dream set ups, and the biggest issue that I am seeing is that the logo is not minimal, but even more so, the logo itself is yellow which may get in the way of some setups. Now, I understand that this is branding of the company and they are not likely to change it, but I wanted to throw in my two cents. The other issue that I have noticed was the label that is on the inside of the mousepad, not the outside or wrapped around. I did not have any issue with the label getting in the way of gameplay so far (only been able to test the pad for the last 4 days) but I would imagine that it might cause some issues in the future. One company that did their label really well + adding their logo to that label was Razer and its new Gigantus V2 lineup. As an avid speed pad lover I bit the bullet for this one when the revised version came out. I've been using it intensively occasionally switching to other pads like the AC+. The glide out of the box at first felt even faster than my helios hardpad, which was a very pleasant experience on my end. With that out of the way we can get to my first impressions of the pad itself, and this is a tale of two feelings. On the one hand I love the deep blue color of the MPC and the stitched sides, but on the other hand I’m not really a fan of the quite large and rubberized Endgame Gear logo along with the Cordura tag. I get that these things are important for branding, doubly so for smaller companies, but I would’ve liked to see a smaller logo application here. The Cordura tag could be there for licensing reasons (I’m just thinking out loud though; I’m not saying that this is the case) and is easily removed with a pair of scissors so that honestly doesn’t bother me as much but obviously I could do without it. Performance You can use the spudger or knife on its own without using the hairdryer, especially if you're unsure of how long to heat the feet up by. This may leave traces of glue on the bottom of the mouse however, which will need to be removed before attaching the new mouse feet.

The surface of the Endgame Gear MPC450 is dark blue and this refresh features an updated design for the manufacturer's logo in the upper right corner. A yellow stitching on the outer edges serves as a decorative element and the sewn-in label identifies this high-end mousepad as an authentic CORDURA® product. With the MPC450 , Endgame Gear focused on making a professional gaming e-sports mousepad suitable for tournament use. The Endgame Gear MPC450's 45 x 40cm textile surface has excellent sliding properties and is optimized for optical sensors. When you're looking to switch out your skates, you’ll need to choose replacements that fit your specific model of mouse due to each mouse having a different layout on its base where the skates are installed. The exception being brands who use the same mouse chassis for multiple models, but that will be mentioned on the skates product description. Having the right mousepad can be crucial for consistent gameplay and make a huge difference to your performance which can be especially important in fast-paced games where split-second decisions can make all the difference. Adding from the point above, do not break in newly-installed skates or use a new mouse using this pad. I've played with the OOX for a few hours - which has really scratchy skates out of the box, the pad slowed down tremendously because of it.

Guides

Stitched Edges: Provides several benefits, including preventing fraying and ensuring durability, which can significantly extend the life of the pad. They also improve the overall appearance of the pad, giving it a more professional and polished look. MPC series comes in three different sizes. L (MPC-450), XL (MPC-890) and Extended (MPC-1200). I was sent the MPC-450. As you would expect, given that most mousepads today offer 450x400 variant, this was no different. As a low/medium sensitivity player (800 DPI - 1.6 sens in CS, 5.33 sens in OW, 0.503 sens in Valorant), I was extremely happy with the size, given that I am 34cm/360. I never had the issue of going over the vertical or horizontal space.

I’ll start of by answering a question that’s probably on a lot of minds right now: what exactly is Cordura? Well, Cordura is a specific type of fabric usually made out of nylon (though there are many variations) that’s mainly used for military and outdoor usage due to its resistance to tearing, scuffing, and so on.Concerns might be raised over the comfort of a fabric that’s made for rugged military people and outdoorsy survivor types but I didn’t experience any discomfort whatsoever. I absolutely hate the feeling of coarse textures grinding across my forearm as I perform large swipes for an entire evening so I was a bit concerned when I started reading up on Cordura but I’ve got to say that the MPC450 feels great. The mouse surface itself feels smooth enough and the stitching, while not the finest or most high quality stitching job, didn’t annoy me either. The rubber base also did its job of keeping the pad where I put it and the padding underneath the surface is nice and firm so that’s all aces too.

The Endgame Gear MPC450 Cordura Mousepad is fast, durable, and it looks decent too. It’s a great choice for anyone looking for a long-term replacement for their old mousepad, or even anyone looking to get a mousepad for the first time. This method involves using the hairdryer to heat up the glue underneath the mouse feet. Once the glue has been heated long enough, use a spudger (a flat plastic tool with a sharp end) or a knife to scrape underneath the feet to peel them off — be careful if using a knife! Given the fact that this isn’t your standard cloth surface I was a bit more thorough when it came to testing a variety of sensors. I don’t have any mice with really old or unknown sensors lying around but I had absolutely no issues with a 3310, 3360, HERO, Focus+, and what have you so I can say with relative certainty that this surface handles all of the current sensors (and even the previous generation of top sensors) without any hiccups. Endgame Gear MPC450 Review – Conclusion The bottom is made of natural rubberized material which helps to keep the pad in place when you’re dragging your mouse around on it.

Pro Lists

Endgame Gear, a company that does not fail to surprise me each time they release a product. First, they have released XM1. One of the best mice on the market for claw grip users. Bare in mind that the company is new and has fewer employees than other known companies, they were fast to note that users were not happy with the rubberized cable, and in the next month or two, they have released a new version with one of the best paralike cables. Today, I present to you their new mousepad, MPC-450 from the MPC series. With a little preparation and some simple steps, you can enjoy better control and performance like the pros.
