I don't think my dog has mites tbh. His ears get hot, smelly and have waxy stuff. Not badly but it's obviously a bit irritating as he loves having them rubbed and fiddled with. The vets always give me a liquid cleaner which he hates with a passion. It also doesn't seem to do much!

Personally, I have no idea why people use this ear powder! I have so many dogs come in with powdery ears and it doesnt do anything! Ear mites are probably a no no as they only really exist when the animal is really young as they have to catch them from another dog and is quite rare in older animals.
