Description

From the home screen, choose option 2 STAT by either pressing the “2” button or arrowing over to it and pressing the EXE button. The fx-9750GII is an basic graphic calculator, capable of plotting graphs and data charts, calculating probability distributions and matrix arithmetic. In fact, sometimes I have seen it for half of the big name calculators, and yet you can have a brand new graphing calculator. You’ll find simple easy to use apps for things like lists, graphing, tables, conic sections, and a handful more. It doesn’t have a computer algebra system like some of the most expensive graphing calculators (like the TI-Nspire CX CAS, or the HP Prime).

Even if you haven’t used a Casio calculator before, or even a graphing calculator before, the fx-9750GII shouldn’t be too hard to learn.Programming is dead easy (the language is similar to BASIC) and with every text character and mathematical symbol available, together with the full range . You can obtain PDF manuals for the fx-9750GII, and these manuals will also cover the fx-9860GII/fx-9860GII-SD, with small changes as noted in those manuals. Several improvements have been made since the release of the original fx-9750G and the fx-9750G+, as it now has 62 kb of usable memory instead of 28 kb, and has had two major revisions. Features icon menu system, data communications with PC and calculators, matrix/vector, metric conversions, 21 character x 8 line display and user memory.

The fx9750gii was launched over 11 years ago, and almost from 'day 1' owners have complained about the lack of a natural display as standard, and have resorted to upgrading the operating to the fx9860gii, by ROM flashing. Whatever the reason, for a calculator that's almost universally adopted by college students, both here and overseas, it's disgusting that Casio haven't put this right!Since it has a low resolution your graphed lines won’t look as pretty, and some of the menus will have abbreviated words.

It may be out of fear of loosing sales of the fx9860gii as a consequence, but that may not have happened because it's sturdier, has a bigger display panel, and the SD versions of it offer memory expansion via SD cards. The Casio fx-9750GII has one of the most capable programming interfaces of most graphing calculators.

Also if you’ve used any Casio graphing calculator in the past this will be similar and you should pick it up immediately. The fx-9750GII doesn't have the hardware for the backlight, and doesn't have the SD card support found in the fx-9860GII SD. If that's not enough, you upgraded the operating system to give it a natural display, spreadsheet, document facility and the ability to take powerful add on apps (free of charge) which give it CAS facilities. Labelling on the retail packaging of this model varies, sometimes being the same as its direct predecessor, or sometimes using the label "USB Power Graphic 2", although the -2 is not printed on the case, neither is there anything else obvious to distinguish it from its predecessor.

I'vebeengettingusedtoitanddon'twanttochangetoascientificoneweeksbeforemyASexamsbutthereisjustonefunctionIcan'tfind. When plotting parametric curves, you need to go into 'set-up' and change the default setting to allow negative values of the parameter (t) to be used, as well as positive values. Most Casio calculators are pretty straightforward and easy to use, and the fx-9750GII is no exception.Incredibly easy to use: just think about where you'd expect the facility to be and how you'd expect to use it, and there it is! From any screen, you can press the [MENU] button and be taken the main menu where you can run any of the 14 main apps on the calculator. As the model is a cut-down fx-9860GII, selecting that under Graphic Models will bring you to the correct software. The fx-9750GII graphs lines about twice as fast as the TI-84 Plus CE (Texas Instruments’ newest TI-84 calculator).
