Disruptive and yet still elegant, Urban Hero Gold is a multifaceted aroma for a man of contrasts who embraces a free approach to life, eliciting youthful energy and optimism alongside an undeniable sophistication. When creating this fragrance, master perfumer Juliette Karagueuzoglou was inspired by street art and graffiti, which can be seen as both dangerously controversial and a well-respected modern art form.

That said a perfectly serviceable fragrance. A decent gift for fans of Jimmy Choo. Perhaps if you're looking to buy something for the 20-30 something friend or relative that is considered somewhat a contrarian who likes to think of himself as anti-establishment, whilst simultaneously being loyal to designer brands. First impressionsThe final burning question is, is Urban Hero Gold Edition worth it? No. It is decently affordable and mass-appealing. However, this is all it has going for it. Nothing about this fragrance makes it special enough to be recommended. Jimmy Choo Urban Hero Gold Edition is a woody fruity Eau de Parfum, with a creative heart, emblematic of the street art environment. Similar to other Eau de Parfums, Urban Hero Gold Edition EDP lasts between four to five hours on the skin. This woody fruity Eau de Parfum is imbued with unique and enticing top notes of pineapple and blood orange. The bitterness of the latter helps to offset the balsamic sweetness of soothing lavandin and rich tonka bean at the heart. Finally, Urban Hero Gold Edition dries down into a smooth, sophisticated base of sandalwood and moss. As for occasions, it is all. This is both a pleasant and wearable fragrance that won’t offend anyone. This translates to its excellent mass appeal and likability.

Urban Hero Gold EDP reminds me of Versace Dreamer The Original Edition; its similar sharp citrus tone refreshes the mind before the scent mellows into an aromatic lavender note and rich tonka bean base. But Jimmy Choo stands out because of its touch of fresh moss and tropical holiday notes. A very sweet citrusy opening. Some push from the lavender that makes a thoughtful approach but is not integral enough to the plot of this fragrance. I'm immediately aware that the plot is not one of high art. But that's fine. Not everything has to be high art, there's room in life for hamburgers as the Americans say. There aren’t any great clones of Urban Hero Gold Edition. Even the original is not similar. But this doesn’t make it unique, as it is a sweet and vanilla blend found in many other fragrances. Rebellious, inspired, elegant and daring, the Urban Hero Gold is also multifaceted - a man of contrasts who and openly embraces a free approach to life. If you’re a fan of Jimmy Choo Urban Hero and you’re looking for a fresher, more aromatic scent for summer or daytime wear, Urban Hero Gold Edition is the perfect match.The scent delivers on its promise on being playful, having a vibrancy and certainly this is a great social scent. In its review, I don’t recommend it, but if you’re in love with this citrus and fruit combination, Lacoste L’homme is a much better choice. Urban Hero Gold Edition lasts seven to eight hours on the skin with light projection. It pushes out a foot for the entire wear. Even if you move around more, this doesn’t project better as it is so light. This is all-season wear, except the hottest days of summer and coldest days of winter. In the summer, it becomes cloying. It doesn’t have the depth to push through the cold air in the winter.I heard reports going in about this being quite a young man's fragrance. Probably too sweet for a man who is starting to appreciate quiet nights in and relieved to hear about stag dos being cancelled.
