colours and eight effects to choose from (customisable via software or on the switch on the mouse) you can choose the exact colours you need. Of course that’s nitpicking on a microscopic level, but it’s just something I thought about during the review process. The Glorious Model D- is a lightweight juggernaut offering smooth sensor performance in a design that performs well for gamers. The DeathAdder V2 is a flat and rather long ergonomic shape, whereas the D- is a short and ‘boxier’ ergo shape. Of course us reviewers can only test what’s in front of us: mistakes can always happen and not a single company has a 100% track record when it comes to releasing flawless product after flawless product, so take all of this with a grain of salt.

Included with the mouse is an Ascended Cord utilising a USB-C interface, for fast and reliable charging. Compared to the smaller Model O Minus, these holes are slightly less densely packed and cover a smaller overall area of the mouse. The S is a completely different shape so it’s kind of difficult to really compare the two, but the Model D is quite a bit bigger than the S1 and also longer and higher than the DeathAdder so if that was too large I don’t think this would be the one for you. The GPX has an entirely different shape so I can’t really comment on that as that’s something subjective. As with the Model O and Model O Minus, the Model D comes in four variants - matte black, gloss black, matte white and gloss white. That makes it a better fit for palm grip players, but its light weight makes it fit for claw or hybrid grips too. Utilising the exclusive BAMF sensor Glorious designed in partnership with PixArt, this gaming mouse has up to 19,000 DPI with a tracking speed of 400 IPS, granting you pin-point accuracy as you dominate the battlefield. It performs great even without a bungee, and while nothing can compare to true wireless (in my opinion) this does come pretty darn close. It’s also worth mentioning that the PCB within the Model D is coated to protect it from sweat or whatever else might get into the mouse’s innards over time.

One thing I will say is that, if they’re going for a cleaner look with the whole ‘less holes’ thing, they might want to consider changing that bearded man logo to perhaps something like the ‘GLORIOUS’ typeface that can be found on the back of the GMMK Pro, but that’s obviously just my personal opinion. How much you dig the look of any Glorious mouse will depend on your tolerance for its honeycomb surfaces. What’s interesting here is that Glorious has made a number of changes when compared to their latest wireless release, the Model O Wireless. I have quite large and long hands, my previous mouse was the Steelseries rival 300 but i want to try something new.Utilising the latest technology, this gaming mouse won’t drop connection so you can confidently game.

This can be a real pain if you like to switch between two settings for assault rifles and sniper rifles, for example, or keep a super-low DPI for railgunning in Quake.

The Model D’s buttons feel rigid (more so than the Model O) and didn’t move laterally at all in my experience, even with a fair amount of force applied to them. The Model D Wirelessis a medium-large sized ergonomic mouse that comes in at an impressive weight of just 69 grams.

That said: if you have any QC issues with any mouse you should be able to send it back and get a new one.

I do love it when my peripherals are capable of being true plug and play, but optional software for those fine or outside-the-box adjustments is always a plus in my book, so the inclusion of this straightforward piece of software is a nice touch. Credit is provided by Novuna Personal Finance, a trading style of Mitsubishi HC Capital (UK) PLC, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Glorious hasn’t always been a company that’s known for their stellar QC process so this section might be a bit more important for this mouse than it is for others. Using the software, Glorious Core, you will be able to completely customise the lighting and synchronise it with other compatible devices.
