Riko is one of the main protagonists of Made in Abyss and the daughter of the legendary Delver, Lyza. Much like her mother, Riko has an undying curiosity for the Abyss and strives to become a White Whistle so she can make it to the bottom of the Abyss and learn its many secrets. Although she has a brilliant mind and an enthusiastic personality, her weak physique would make it very hard for Riko to travel very far down the Abyss. However, she eventually meets Reg, who saves her from a rogue Crimson Splitjaw that was in a supposedly safe layer in the Abyss. After the two meet, they begin their journey together down the Abyss in an attempt to find Riko's mother and learn more about the Abyss. The city surrounds a strange, giant hole going deep into the earth, which is commonly called the Abyss. The Abyss harbors artifacts and remnants of a civilization long gone, and is therefore the popular hunting spot for so-called Cave Raiders, who undertake arduous and dangerous descents into the mist-filled pit to recover whatever relics they can find. Returning from the Abyss, however, can be dangerous, as "the Curse of the Abyss," a fatal malady, manifests upon ascension. The deeper one goes, the more acute the effects of the curse; few who have descended into the lower regions have returned to tell of their experiences. Some legendary Cave Raiders earn the title of White Whistle, one of them being Riko's mother Lyza. After escaping from Bondrewd's experiments and traveling to the fourth layer of the Abyss, Nanachi eventually meets Riko and Reg. After Reg is able to finally put an end to Mitty's suffering, Nanachi is convinced to join their journey to the bottom of the Abyss. Riko This figure of Nanachi captures many of the characteristics of their design that makes them unique. Whether it be Nanachi's tall bunny-like ears, tan fur, or unique hat, fans of Nanachi will be able to find something to appreciate. In addition, this figure also includes several extra parts for even more customization. Some examples include face plates to swap Nanachi's expression from a happy expression, to a bashful expression, to a hungry, drooling expression. This set also includes plenty of articulation and extra pieces to allow for a wide variety of poses and customization. It also includes a spoon and bowl of food, as well as a small figure of Mitty, Nanachi's closest friend. Reg appears to be a young boy with robotic arms. That said, details surrounding his origins are largely unknown, as Reg has no memories prior to meeting Riko. After looking at some of her mother's notes, Riko believes that Reg may be from the bottom of the Abyss, as he resembles a sketch of a creature that resides in the seventh layer of the Abyss. Despite looking like a child, Reg is incredibly durable and destructive, resulting in him acting much like a protector for Riko on their travels. In addition to his extendable arms, Reg has access to a powerful incinerator that, despite having a limited number of uses, can vaporize nearly anything in its path. After Nanachi sees Reg using this incinerator, they request that he use it on Mitty in exchange for saving Riko from dying from Orb Piercer poison.
