Of them all, these were my mum's favourite. I had to rope her into help to get two different perspectives. Nando’s Peri-Peri grooves are perfect for dipping or eating alone. We found them very filling and loved them all.

But I suppose this would be a good way of stopping you from eating too much. For my mum, these were far too hot. Loving Nando’s I was pleased to be given the opportunity to sample their Peri-Peri chips grooves range recently (they are actually crisps to me and you!). With such a well-known brand I knew they would be delicious and was delighted with them. They claimed to be cayenne pepper but for me, all I could get was a smokey bbq taste. It was then I decided to try a range of different crisps that all claim to be 'hot' for a fair fair comparison. I wanted to see if they lived up to the marketing. For my little 'experiment', I bought Wotsits Crunchy Flamin Hot, Lidl's Chilliwave Tortilla Chips, Walkers Max Strong Jalapeno and Cheese and Seabrook's Fire Eaters Smokin Hot and Fire Easter Scorchin Hot. Mix your tomato puree, sauce, lemon juice, and garlic and season then bake in your oven at gas mark 5 for 10 minutes.
