I’ve played in a diversity of environments, including high school varsity games, corporate recreation leagues, and college intramural games. So, it might be easier to get the 9 since it’s on the shelves right now and the 8th sneaker is being cleared out of retail. However, if you’re someone who spends their time playing or practicing in the gym it will provide you with a lighter, more comfortable shoe.

The new Flow cushion is a joy to play in and gives a nice low-to-the-ground feel for a great responsive experience!With such a minimal upper, minimal support features, and the way the shoe is sculpted, you’d most likely run into containment/lockdown issues. The shoe utilizes foam as the bottom portion and completely gets rid of rubber, resulting in an incredibly feathery experience. Another bright spot of this model is the 360-degree traction pattern that allows you to stop and start on a dime.

Bottom line, make sure to go up 1/2 a size, get some grippier socks on (ideally with a textured finish to minimize those toe bumps), lace ’em up tight, and enjoy the ride. But imo curry 9s fit way better and just feel better on foot as it conforms to your foot better looks wise i love this shoe just get prepared to stub ur toe from time to time.
