Description

Furthermore, the device offers MIDI in and MIDI out capabilities, allowing for seamless integration with external MIDI devices such as keyboards and synthesizers. It features a headphone out, enabling private monitoring and listening. Additionally, the device includes a USB port for easy connectivity with other devices and for data transfer. When you edit a note map from GUI Edit or TUI Edit, MPC will update accompanying sequence events through the whole project. It lags behind some rivals on the sampling front, but on the whole, the MC-707 is powerful, well-designed and a lot of fun.

The AKAI MPC Live II is a DJ gear device that measures 243.8 millimeters in width, 411.5 millimeters in depth, and 45.7 millimeters in height. It has a weight of 3380 grams, making it quite portable and lightweight. Now the MPC replaces all this and with the built-in battery, it only takes a minute to plug the audio cable and controller keyboard and voila! Last but not least, the constant update from Akai makes buying into the system a good investment. You can see how many great and killer features they have added through post-launch updates ( more plugins / class compliant audio interface )...

Yes! The MPC X and MPC Live will both ship with USB 3.0 cables and work at USB 3.0 speeds when connected to the computer as a controller. While USB 2.0 may work, we do recommend using 3.0 cables and ports whenever possible for the best results. If the MPC is in standalone mode, any connected thumb drives or storage devices will operate at USB 2.0. Can I add additional storage space? On top of that, you also have four capacitive-touch knobs so you've got great, tactile control over all your critical functions. MPC 2 is designed to be the ultimate platform for unrestricted creative versatility alongside must-have tools that deliver unprecedented control. MPC 2 supports all 3rd Party Midi controllers with templates for all popular models. MPC has graduated from a highly acclaimed performance instrument to a fully featured DAW. Rounding out the Drum and Keygroup program updates are Note Off triggering for the Sample Play parameter, portamento Time, Quantise and Legato parameters for Keygroups and an improved user interface. Wrapping Up

One of our favourite new features is standalone USB class audio support, which allows you to hook up any class-compliant audio interface to your MPC. Now you can easily integrate your favourite interface into the MPC workflow and instantly expand your MPC‘s available inputs & outputs. Once you’ve connected your interface, you can have access to up to a whopping 32 simultaneous inputs & outputs. This gives you enough I/O to record a live drum kit, process audio through your outboard hardware and more – all with your Akai Professional MPC. Automatic Key Detection As well as being significantly lighter, the revamped button layout of the MPC Live II includes new buttons for step-sequencer access (probably the most-used button), mixer, timing correction, mute, and next-sequence selection. The master volume knob is now more accessible too, now sitting on the top panel. Storage & ConnectivityOut the box MPC Live II Retro ships with 16GB of internal Micro SD storage. For producers looking to add a personal touch to their production, MPC Live II Retro features a built-in SD Card slot, a user-expandable 2.5-inch SATA drive bay for connecting SSD or HDD drives and USB thumb input for immediate access to your own sample libraries. That's why the Akao MPC Live II features three stereo 1/4" TRS outputs (six mono) along with phone/line-level inputs, USB, MIDI, four TRS CV/Gate Outputs and even Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Ableton Live IntegrationMPC Live II Retro comes pre-mapped to Ableton Live for an instant performance and production setup. Take complete command over Live's clip launching, mixer and instrument macro controls wirelessly via Wi-Fi network Ableton Link or by ethernet connection using a USB to ethernet adapter. Fusing MPC's production prowess, critically acclaimed synth engines and a rapid, intuitive workflow with Ableton Live, any creative endeavour is literally a touch away.Yes! MPC 2.0 will come with VST, AU and AAX versions to run as a plug-in in your favorite DAW, exactly like the older MPC software versions. The MPC Drum Program and Keygroup engines are enhanced for more creativity and on-the-fly performance effects. Akai Sample Tail adds a natural decay to samples, eliminating abrupt chops and clip noises. Keygroup Users of the MPC Live who don’t want speakers might not be motivated to upgrade, especially as the 2.8 software update is compatible with the original model. But if you’re enticed by a brand new battery-powered production and sampling machine, you’ll love this unit. Key Features
