Summary: This book takes you on a journey around the world, as each page gives information about a child from a different country. Travel or family travel in Europe, Australia, Asia, South East Asia, The Middle East ( Dubai), some parts of the Americas ( USA, Guatemala, El Salvador, some Canada), and Africa ( Egypt, South Africa ).The Children’s Worlds project continues to grow with further countries including Indonesia, Finland and Italy joining the second wave of the survey. People can find the idea of setting out into the world with just a backpack or suitcase a little scary.

The instructor can print out maps of the countries that was discussed in the story, have the children pick and color it. The book discusses 12 different people of different cultures and a little bit about them like the language they speak, types of food they eat, and their religion. Role play, educational visits and hands-on experiences involving food, music, dance and celebrations are an integral part of how the children learn. This is a great book for elementary aged children to teach them about how children live all around the world.
