Steve Owen who built it (chassis number 111) also maintained it for me, hence the new carbon front wing which is not as per originally fitted but a massive improvement- can take hollow at Gurston absolutely flat out @ 110 ish.

I’ve built this car from the ground up and I know every nut and bolt but my heart has always been set on a MK2 escort so that’s why I’m selling it. Part exchange is possible for a MK2 Escort. It has been a competitive clubmans car having given me regular event class wins as well as both HSA Speed and Midland Speed Championships class trophies. This stunning Caterham was factory built and supplied new to its only owner in 2015. It has a very comprehensive specification, including: New while in UK: Plugs, Weber air filters, rear brake shoes, clutch slave, rear hub seals, Aeroquip front and rear brake lines.A multiple class winner in hands of John Barnard in the 1996 and 1997 Cast Jedi Mk6 fitted with a 599cc Honda F3 engine,built May 2021 from an earlier Mk 4 Chassis by Jedi and was going to be the factory car but they were too busy with there race series. The Vision was then extensively rebuilt and modified to accept one of the special turbocharged K Series engines which were developed by Rover for the MG EXF project. The car has proved to be a competitive proposition in speed events over the years but has not been used since being immaculately prepared with a freshly rebuilt engine. Recently completely stripped and given a full nut and bolt rebuild including replated suspension, new brake discs and pads, dampers overhauled, gearbox rebuild and rechromated, and new carbon sidepods. In immaculate condition throughout.

This 55F model dates from 1983 and received a full chassis and engine rebuild four years ago before being put in dry storage. Hewland Mk 8 4/5 speed box (rebuilt by JP racing at Silverstone few years ago. LSD (also rebuilt by JP) Later type front and rear clams with recessed latches and PR6 style high downforce side pods. Engine: 2.0 Cosworth Duratec Engine, Dry sumped, 260 BHP, Cosworth Roller Barrel Throttle Bodies, Carbon Air Box, MBE Management System The ALDON was originally built and designed by myself and Don Loughlin as one of the first monocoque chassis racing cars of the late ‘60s early ‘70s. It was designed to take a variety of engines that could be used in various formulae.Complete with a current V5, a reproduction instruction book, a sump guard and the original airbox, diff and Nardi steering wheel. The driver with the greatest number of "Race to the Sky" outright wins (8) is Nobuhiro "Monster" Tajima, driving his custom built Suzuki Escudo hillclimb special vehicle.
