Had me absolutely hooked. I literally did not have a clue what would happen next!' ***** Reader Review A breath-taking psychological suspense about obsession and dangerous love. If you loved Verity, this is the No.1 bestselling book you need to read next . . . The story is about Sloan, a girl that is apparently very strong and unyielding, however, in my opinion, she comes across as a whiny doormat. A breath-taking psychological suspense about obsession and dangerous love. The new edition of Too Late from the TikTok phenomenon and #1 bestselling author of Verity. An explosive, sexy thriller full of chilling admissions, incredible twists and turns, and some seriously creepy plotlines. I can honestly say that I’ve never read another thriller quite like it."

If you've yet to experience the delightthat is reading one of Hoover's novels, we suggest starting with this . . . Prepare for your pulse to race and palms to sweat."— E! News International and #1 New York Times bestselling author of romance, YA, thriller, women's fiction and paranormal romance. The perfect choice if you're after a gripping read but be warned, its twists and turns may very well keep you up at night."— Refinery29

I cannot comprehend why the main narrator does not find a job or whatever like a typical college student... At its core, “Too Late” is a thought-provoking exploration of love and redemption. Through Sloan’s tumultuous journey, Hoover challenges conventional notions of love, emphasising the importance of self-worth and personal growth. The book encourages readers to question societal expectations and find the courage to break free from toxic relationships. It’s a powerful reminder that true love should never come at the expense of one’s well-being. Conclusion: Two striking facts about the Colleen Hoover Phenomenon. The first is that the US writer is one of the best-selling English language authors of current times, with more than 20 million books sold. The second is that you still probably haven’t heard of her, unless you are, on average, a young woman aged 15-30 who likes reading and uses TikTok – the social media platform that made Hoover famous. Colleen Hoover's romances and contemporary fiction novels . . . grip readers with emotionally charged storylines, unique plotlines, and twists that leave us reeling."— Business Insider An explosive, sexy thriller full of chilling admissions, incredible twists and turns, and some seriously creepy plotlines. There was only one woman who could set me free. But I would rather set myself on fire than ask Sloane Walton for anything. So far, so enjoyable as a romantic thriller. But there is no getting around one issue: many of the passages told from Asa’s point of view are very uncomfortable. The sex scenes involving him are frightening and destabilising – we don’t know what his limits are. He threatens and chokes Sloan, and describes having sex with her, in detail, to another man. It is a long way from erotic.

Colleen Hoover is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Verity, the Hopeless series, the Maybe Someday series, Ugly Love, Confess, It Starts With Us, It Ends With Us, All Your Perfects, and many more. She lives in Texas with her husband and their three boys. Please visit http://www.ColleenHoover.com. Verity delivers the grand slam of thriller twists—the holy grail of 'what the…?!' moments . . . Itlit up my brain."— Washington Post Too Late originally appeared online chapter by chapter, which held its own attraction for readers, and Hoover has said she found their comments very helpful. The new version has been tidied up and given a much clearer structure, and one of the most unnerving sex scenes has been removed. And even a book as dark as this one offers Hoover’s trademark tropes: funny, flirty conversations, a charming hero, and an idealised but sometimes surprising heroine. So it’s a good bet that this will be another big hit – her last book, It Starts With Us, had an initial print run of 3 million when it was published last year. She doesn't sugarcoat the bad parts and glitter the good ones, the heroes are flawed and the villains are human' ***** Reader ReviewShe has an abusive boyfriend, Asa, and she stays with him since he pays the bills for her brother's care. He treats her poorly, he is violent and shows little redeeming qualities.

When CoHo released this book, she suggested that this story would be a little edgier and darker than her other reads. Too Late was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay darker than I thought it was possible for Hoover to go. I mean, have you seen her? She’s farking adorable. Dreamland is a love story about risking everything for a dream—and whether it’s possible to leave the past behind. So I leave GR for a bit because real life sometimes exists and I hate it. Then I get a message from my bookpushing bestie giving me a 'gentle' nudge to read this book.

This book was originally written as a side project by the author. It previously appeared on other platforms under the same title, but has since been slightly edited from its original content and formatted specifically for kindle. Please note that the content of this book is more graphic than the content of other books written by this author, hence the distinction between the names. This title is recommended for mature audiences only due to extreme graphic content. Recommended for readers 18+. There are genuinely spooky moments that had me squirming, and all sorts of twists and turns."— Business Insider
