Ruby and Sunny are shown happily getting autographs from The Royal Three, having to leave when they get their fittings. December 6th, 2020: Skyler's cheer doll is released, being spotted at Walmart in the United States and Canada. Bella had a much duller, more rose gold color scheme within the first few episodes of the animated series. For an unknown reason, this was changed to a brighter, more pink color. While not interacting much, Karma is shown to appreciate Bella, wanting her to come on her show and tell about her reentry to Rainbow High. Bella is shown to be quite flattered, and she mentions that she is a huge fan of Kontent With Karma. The two seem to converse regularly after this. January 8th, 2021: Bella makes her last appearance as a member of the runway group in " Enter Amaya".

Despite having very different personalities, Sunny and Ruby get along rather well, despite Ruby being dry and sarcastic and Sunny being cheerful as can be.She is proclaimed to be the most talented first-year fashion designer that Rainbow High has seen in a long time.

Just like Poppy and Daria, Rainbow Dream and Poppy connect strongly with their love of music, with all five of them working together on their Radiant Week project and even earning a special reward for it.

Ruby appears in the runway show, wearing her daring outfit previously shown to be designed by Skyler. Ruby talks about how important strength, art, and expression are for her life in and out of Rainbow High during her monologue. Working with the rest of her friends, they pass their runway project, and Ruby even gets surprised with seeing Bella's return near the end. After Skyler gives her story behind her getting over Colin at the party, she chimes in and continues supporting her friend, even telling she she had switched seats in class to be away from him. While being close and stable friends, Skyler and Jade do not interact very much, but they show a great deal of respect for each other's talents and contributions. While Poppy and Violet don't interact much, they are close friends and tend to work better as a group, with them having rather different but complimenting personalities. Violet wears Poppy's second sweatshirt when the girls switch accessories and outfits. Just like Poppy, Sunny is close with Skyler due to the three of them being roommates. The two are frequently seen together and enjoy each other's company, with Skylar helping cheer Sunny up on her first day of school.

Continuing to work on the runway project, Ruby reminds her group that if they fall behind, they are done for. She later attends an escape room activity hosted by her advisor Ms. Morton, where she works with her friends to figure it out. After figuring out the escape room, Ruby and the rest of the girls remind Jade of how appreciated she is, and all the girls let Jade give them special makeovers. Bella appears to be quite talented in her focus 'set design'. This is showcased specifically in " The Prize at the End of the Rainbow", when she mentions that she wins 'a lot of awards'. With the story still going on, Violet reveals to her and Skyler that Sunny didn't steal anything and was instead just exchanging it. This makes Ruby and Skyler apologize, with Sunny accepting it and them all hanging out together shortly after.
