Later at the junkyard, despite the fact Lotso made Buzz abandon his friends, he and Woody still saved helped from getting shredded. But when Lotso left Buzz and his friends to be killed at the incinerator, Buzz knew his short-lived friendship with Lotso was over. The LED in his forearm blinks and a looping sound effect plays as long as the button is depressed. Exactly how this feature works and does not interfere with the operation of the wings is unexplained.
