Description

I liked the Freestyle cards although it can be irritating if you’ve laid down a corker of a card that you’ve been saving only to have it wasted. Plus, I liked the idea of swapping your hand when get gets clutter with crap cards but for the cost of a precious victory point. – I think I’ll “house rule” this into other similar party games I play. I love a good party game and with the right type of people this is one of those! This UK Edition is better than the original What Do You Meme? game as you obviously aren’t left trying to figure out Americanisms that don’t translate and there are the odd UK Photo Card that you know will always bring a laugh to the table whatever Caption Card comes out. The replay-ability is there as the game has plenty of cards, both caption and photograph, and I like the recommendation in the rules to add your own pics into the mix. That is as long as you’re not going to lose friends when people play certain risqué or offensive captions to fit alongside your beaming mugshot and delightful family photos!

Too Similar to Other Games: Let’s face it, there are a lot of games on the market that are pretty much exactly like this. While this game, in particular, puts a new spin on things without a doubt, it is important to remember that Cards Against Humanity is also a very good option to look into, although it is definitely more expensive so if you are looking for something on a budget this is the sort of thing that you would love to buy. If you have bought a card game before, however, this game is not going to provide you with anything extremely unique that would make it worthwhile. Plus, if you have ever played a game like Cards Against Humanity, you will almost instantly know how to play.Once the remaining players know what meme they need to caption, they will need to look through their 7 caption cards and hand their favorite one to the judge. Occasionally, a Freestyle Card will get played; this means that all players must caption the next meme with a statement that they have thought of themself. Main Objective: Successfully have the best meme caption as voted for by other players; the player with the most at the end becomes the new Meme King or Queen. There are also 75 large Photo Cards, a cardboard Easel and a very light and humorous rulebook. Gameplay

As there are 360 caption cards, this means you can have up to 51 players playing at once, although we wouldn’t recommend playing with this number of players. The What Do You Meme rules are so easy to understand; if you’ve ever seen a meme, then you are basically halfway there to playing the game. Looking for more adult-themed games? Then look no further than our guides to the Llama Unleashed rules, Monikers rules and Fun-Employed rules for some more great card games for adults. So as you can see, there’s not a lot of parts to this card game, so it’s easy to bring to parties and when away from home. All players will need to draw a new caption card from the draw pile; players must always have 7 cards in their hands throughout the game. But overall, it’s a good game for families or college game nights. There’s a low barrier of entry and just about anyone who can read will be able to play. Or if you’re looking for a group game to play with kids, What Do You Meme? family edition is a great alternative that takes out the adult themes and risque topics.

Each What Do You Meme core game contains 435 cards. 360 of these are caption cards and 75 are photo cards. Highly Social: If you are the sort of person who tends to have some difficulty socializing with other people, this game is perfect for you. When you are at a party, playing this game is the perfect way to break the ice and show people that you are actually a fun person to be around. Hence, this game can allow you to make friends and can enable you to find something to talk about with people that you may have never met before. This is certainly something that makes this game very worthwhile indeed. Alternatively, choose other methods that work best for your friend group if you don’t want to go with most social media followers. The person with the most points is the new meme king or meme queen and wins the game. Adding your own photo Then learn how to play What Do You Meme? and prove to your friends you can out meme them once and for all. What Is What Do You Meme?

Delivery:

is a good number to play with as a rule of thumb as this would ensure getting plenty of rounds in per sitting. Why is What Do You Meme 17+? Setting up the game could not be more simple; start by placing the easel in a place where all players will be able to see it. Players will also need to receive 7 caption cards each to use throughout the game, with the rest getting placed in the middle as a draw pile.

The player who starts the game gets to be the first judge, after every round, the person on the left becomes the new judge going around the circle. In the base rules of the game, players receive 7 caption cards each, no matter how many players are playing. Not Family Friendly: If you are the sort of person who wants to play these card games with his family, you are going to be disappointed with the sort of experience that this game has to offer. This is because of the fact that the cards included can be rather crass and vulgar because the game has been specifically designed for adults. Kids are not going to be able to join in on the fun, so if you want a good experience for the whole family you will have to look elsewhere unless you want your kids exposed to this kind of vulgar humor. The game states that if all of your caption cards are not funny, you can exchange them for a new set for the cost of a photo card trophy.
