Outside your door is picturesque Old Ollerton in Sherwood Forest with a working watermill, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants. The jetty is just over 100 metres from the cottage, so you could hire a canoe or bring your own and paddle along the river, discovering its narrow channels and scattered islands. Make the most of your unique location close to ancient woodlands and an abundance of wildlife, as well as miles of walking and cycling trails and the ruins of a 17th-century castle.
