My husband LOVES to take the kids skiing in it! We had a single, but updated to a double once our twins came and it has been great! It’s never too early to start camping with your kids – the younger they learn how to have fun outdoors, the sooner you’ll be able to really enjoy it with them! The OmniBoost folding chair is designed a lot like normal camp chairs, just smaller and with a tray. The material is easy to clean by wiping it down. You can also remove the material completely; it’s machine-washable. I love that the chair is very lightweight at just 2lb 10oz so it’s easy carry around with you. The base is approximately 12.5 inches square (which unfortunately is too large to sit on a picnic table) and it’s almost 12 inches tall. It is suitable for 6 months up to 3 years. The weight limit is 250lbs! Pros:

Has loops for toys to save on cleaning time– Cleaning stuff at camp is harder with limited water supply – if you’re someone who’s serious about dirt on toys, you’ll be happy to know there’s TONS of loops to clip on your own special toys. It does come with it’s own though, so don’t worry! That’s when the Playtex drop ins come in handy! I used them for awhile for my son, and keep some on hand for my girls. If you’re eager to get out camping with your baby, then you might not wait till 2 years old when they’re able to really use a “kid” camping chair. This is when portable highchairs, or baby camping chairs, come in handy! Once your baby can sit up, consider a chair you can hang little toys off of and arrange other activities for their entertainment. If your baby has started to eat solid foods, you will want a chair with a tray and that’s easy to clean! Note that most portable baby chairs won’t work well for camping. They are hard to clean, aren’t stable on uneven ground, or simply annoying to use. From my own experience and what other outdoorsy parents have said, here are the best baby camping chairs.

Is It Worth Bringing a Baby Camping Chair?

The grip offered by this chair is high, and so it can be used for traveling, camping, Special Feature: The Summer Infant Pop N’ Sit Portable Booster high chair is super portable and it is extremely designed with lightweight materials. The seat is easy to assemble and is sturdy enough to hold up after heavy usage.

The next important high chair in the list is Summer Infant Pop N’ Sit Portable Highchair. This is also an innovative chair with high-quality design. This chair is foldable and portable. Portable high chairThis highchair has a cushioned base. This base offers complete comfort to the baby. Further, the chair is made up of plastic seating. Cushioned base is placed above it. This offers complete safety and protection to the kid. Foldable Now, if you only have one kiddo and/or don’t camp with other families who have kids, this multiple kid table might not make sense. But if you do, give it a chance! We have saved a ton of hassle dealing with camp chairs tipping from siblings, fights about where to put each individual camp chair etc by just making this thing our main spot! P.S. keep scrolling to the baby section if you were looking for a kids camp chair with a tray IN FRONT (which is a design specifically for babies and young toddlers) If you want a highchair for your baby while camping so you can feed her while at a table, this is the best bet. It has wide legs so you don’t have to worry about your baby toppling over. The non-slip legs are made for using on dirt and other outdoor surfaces.

in 1 – It functions as a highchair and play yard! Anytime you need to get lengthy chores done, or they’re just fussy but you got to get some things done, this is a great place to set your kiddo down where they’ll have food and play The chair is suitable for babies once they can sit on their own and for children up to 75lbs. This means you can get a lot of use out of the camping chair. The dimensions of the chair are 24.5″ tall x 23″ wide x 22.75″ deep Weight: 4.9 lbs. It folds down to: 8″ x 8″ x 24.5″. Pros:

The 5-point harness is a big plus, especially for squirmy babies. Even without it, the camping chair is very stable and you don’t have to worry about your baby toppling over. There’s a storage area under the chair too. The Summer Infant folding chair is very similar to the OmniBoost chair above. It also is lightweight, has a removable tray, folds down small, and is very stable so you don’t have to worry about your baby or toddler toppling over. The fabric is also removeable can can be washed in the machine. With Melissa and Doug being primarily a kids brand, not an outdoor brand, they bring some fun and kid specific functionality to their camp chair designs (we have the octopus one, but they also used to have some cute bug ones!) This is a handy storage product that can be used easily with less maintenance and care. It has effective adaptations to place kid within them. Further, it bears all the activities of the child and keeps them in the same position for a long time. The Tray can be adjusted to three different positions which may be helpful to give additional space to your baby as they grow and require extra space. The tray comes with a cup holder and has a kid-friendly design. Weight
