Some of them incorporate L-rings, which help to secure their covers. PE drums with tension rings or clamping rings are easy to secure in position, reducing the risk of spillage or contamination when they’re being transported. They are also an environmentally friendly option. Choose from lidded barrels with 30, 60, 120 or 220 litre capacities. Although 60 litre drums can often be carried over short distances, a fully filled 205 litre drum can weigh as much as 300 kg, making it unsafe to simply lift and carry even if two workers approach the task together. This means that it’s essential to use specialist drum lifting equipment.
