I think if I had read this book in high school it would've been my favourite book of all time. I was legitimately depressed and I really would have felt what Cioran is saying in my bones. If I had read it in university I would've loved it. Its so beautifully written and while I wasn't as depressed, I would have had the time to process it and peace of mind to quietly contemplate it.
