Description

Colombia has the ideal, almost perfect conditions for the cultivation of this type of coffee bean, including the altitude, climate and top quality mineral-rich volcanic soil, which produce a flowery taste that is highly desirable. These beans are grown in rich, volcanic soil at high altitudes, yielding results that are nothing short of incredible. Brewing coffee with a cloth filter is very easy and much better than a paper filter as it leaves some coffee oils in your brew, whereas a paper filter will remove all the coffee oils. This is subjective, some coffees are better than others and, unfortunately, it used to only be the bad coffee beans that made their way into the local market in Colombia.

In addition, the method by which coffee is prepared influences how much caffeine ends up in your drink. Colombia Geiner Vasquez beans from Temple Coffee Roasters have plenty of fruit flavors, so downing a mug of this medium roast is like eating your daily serving of fruit! Put your coffee grounds into your French press and shake your press to ensure even distribution of your grounds.

Colombian coffee is grown in Colombia only, and the coffee beans go through highly skilled processing, which includes washing the beans, so this coffee retains a milder taste than Arabica coffee. However, it’s clear that moves toward sustainable practices, like Fair or Direct Trade, help improve Colombian farmers’ livelihoods. We were drinking this for a while then went to the molton magma which is also very nice but much cheaper, after trying a bag of this again the flavour difference is noticable enough for us to stick with it. Mejor” means “best,” and considering that’s the name Miami-based roaster Panther Coffee gave this batch of Colombian beans, it’s probably safe to assume it’s good coffee. Colombian coffee has a superb reputation, and it certainly lives up to its promise as one of the best coffee beans in the world.

The country has the perfect geography for coffee cultivation, thanks to its excellent climate, nutrient-rich soil, and ideal rainfall. Though they work hard to compete with other industry giants and maintain quality control, Colombian farmers make meager wages. Even though Brazil is known as the number 1 producer of coffee in the world producing twice as much coffee as second placed Vietnam, they are known for producing low to average quality coffee.

You may be curious to try something different than your usual choice, such as Colombian coffee, but you may be hesitant because you don’t know much about it.
