This car is based on the Porsche 718 Boxster. The "Boxer" name probably references one of two things; a shortened name from "Boxster", or its boxer engine layout in real life. The Boxer is the second Porsche-based vehicle in the game, with the first being the Posh, third being the Icebreaker and fourth being the Proto-08.
