The series of robot attacked put the people of London into jeopardy, so it’s time for the boys to step up! Mum is a cerebral genius who also deals with all the things supermums deal with day in day out (pretty much like my wife then). If you've ever argued with a six (or 8) year old, you're going to wholly identify with Freddy and Alex's exasperated parents in "Mega Robo Bros".

Amidst the massive mechanoid fights, explosions and laser battles, this fourth adventure for the Mega Robo Bros once again asks thoughtful questions about what makes us human and features its customary, inclusive cast of diverse characters. Apologies to those who asked questions I haven’t answered - that’s all I had room for here, but I will try and do another one of these soon! Mega Robo Bros" is the story of two robots who just happen to be two of the most advanced mechs on the planet.As you'd expect from Neill, the characters in the story are contemporary, relevant and downright book-huggingly diverse in all the right ways. I think mainly just for space reasons, but maybe other people are not as interested in my weird made-up science as I am? BOOK 7 will be out next year, and I’m not sure I am allowed to share this but, hey, we’re all amongst friends here right?

And so I had the idea early on for Wolfram, that he would be kind of a failed early prototype version of what became Alex and Freddy, incredibly powerful but kind of huge and scary and broken. The Mega Robo bros face their most dangerous threat yet: the evil robot Wolfram is trying to bring about the end of the world by melting all the ice in the Arctic. I think he’s from an anime series, but I am a bit embarrassed to admit I’m not quite sure which one. Born and raised in Oxford, Neill Cameron has been drawing comics pretty much since he could hold a pencil.

They offer physical resistance but there’s no matter there - so while you can touch them (and hit them), and I guess in theory you could bite them, sadly they wouldn’t taste of anything. It's truly genius stuff, dipping into but never copying tons of robot and sci fi tropes and making them intrinsic to what is the big draw for kids - that despite their obvious superiority, Freddy and Alex are just like any other kid.
