Bridget is my favorite from the friend group I think. And I definitely liked this book wayyyy more than i liked the first one, twisted love. all the secret glances and soft touches i was expecting? non existent to be honest. i think part of it also has to do with the slow burn i didn't feel. i would have thought they had their first kiss around, at least, 60% or so, with everything before being full of stolen glances, touches, and moments between them. Stoic, broody, and arrogant, elite bodyguard Rhys Larsen has two rules: 1) Protect his clients at all costs 2) Do not become emotionally involved. Ever. He has never once been tempted to break those rules…until her.Bridget von Ascheberg. A princess with a stubborn streak and a hidden fire that reduces his rules to ash. She’s nothing he expected and everything he never knew he needed. Day by day, inch by inch, she breaks down his defenses until he’s faced with a truth he can no longer deny: he swore an oath to protect her, but all he wants is to ruin her.Because she’s his. His princess. His forbidden fruit. His every depraved fantasy.Regal, strong-willed, and bound by the chains of duty, Princess Bridget dreams of the freedom to live and love as she chooses. But when her brother abdicates, she’s suddenly faced with the prospect of a loveless, politically expedient marriage and a throne she never wanted. And as she navigates the intricacies-and treacheries-of her new role, she must also hide her desire for a man she can’t have. Her bodyguard. Her protector. Her ultimate ruin.Theirs is a love that could destroy a kingdom…and doom them both.Contains mature themes. Twisted 2. Twisted Games (Ficcion) (Spanish Edition) by Ana Huang – eBook Details

Her books have been sold to over two dozen foreign publishers for translation and featured in outlets such as NPR, Cosmopolitan, Financial Times, and Glamour UK. I also love how at the end they actually talked about not getting married yet because they want to work on building their careers and even tho they seem like the most immature couple that makes them the most mature couple. Putting their careers first especially when they’ve worked so hard to get to where they are. And their careers are a little more difficult and time consuming than others. Let’s just say I loved every second of this book and if you haven’t read it yet… GET TO IT NOW!!!!! It is worth EVERYTHING!!! Even if you may have disliked the first book, definitely give this one a try!! Stoic, broody, and arrogant, elite bodyguard Rhys Larsen has two rules: 1) Protect his clients at all costs 2) Do not become emotionally involved. Ever. Also, Bridget’s brother Nikolai is a selfish POS. The way he just put everything on Bridget’s shoulders was so shitty. I can’t believe Bridget wasn’t angry as hell that her entire life was uprooted because Nikolai wanted to think about himself 🙄 Same with the 2nd book, it was kind of fast, I feel like people say its a slow-burn cuz its like over a couple of years but I wish instead of all the time jumps, we could see more of the anticipation, the angst and the tension building I feel like that would've made it much better. I didn't really like Rhys that much tbh like he was kind of boring, but like when he was with Bridget he was very whipped. They had a lot of cute moments together tho which I rlly liked and I loved how Bridget proves the sexist parliament guy wrong. Once again the smut in this series was kind of weird like one of the things Rhys says is "Remember in public you're my princess but in private you're my whore" and I just don't get why the guy's in this series gotta call the fmcs "thier" sluts or whores just whyyy, but other than that I liked the book I'm just not that big of a smut reader. In Costa Rica, you asked if I’d ever been in love. I said no.” I lowered my head until our foreheads touched and her lips were scant inches from mine. “Ask me again.” What makes it worse is the fact Ana in no way a feminist because if she was she wouldn’t promote this monstrosity of work. the time jumps made this all the more unrealistic. it just added to the the telling and not enough showing.

The time jumps was another element that bothered me. Whilst they were necessary to the story, I did not like the way it was handled initially. It interrupted the flow of the story for me. There was no natural progression into the time jump - it was just abrupt and the reader was just expected to go along with it. PDF / EPUB File Name: Twisted_2_Twisted_Games_Ficcion_Spanish_Edition_-_Huang.pdf, Twisted_2_Twisted_Games_Ficcion_Spanish_Edition_-_Huang.epub I also love the Thayer girls trying to get Alex to have any sort of emotion what so ever in the beginning it was hilarious. And the part where she was asking him what she wants most in life AHHHH. Can’t get enough of them. There are 4 books in total. Twisted Love, Hate, Games and Lies. What Is The Age Rating For The Twisted Series? She's nothing he expected and everything he never knew he needed. Regal, strong-willed and bound by the chains of duty. When her brother abdicates, she's suddenly faced with the prospect of a loveless, politically expedient marriage and a throne she never wanted.I hope this answered your questions and helped you decide if the Twisted series by Ana Huang is for you or not. I can’t imagine a better duo than a lawyer and a doctor. It’s awesome. They just are there to talk with each other like in the library with Tanya’s death, or at the Picnic trying to get Josh to finally move on with Alex, also when Josh finally went to go see his father and Jules was there for him. That’s all the matters just being there for someone and I think that’s what makes them so good together. And the chemistry between them is fantastic. Anyways I love Josh and Jules 🤍

rhys supremacy🤭please disregard what i said down below about being conflicted…rhys is perfect and i think about him everyday🙈🦋bridget, boo, sharing is caring🤭🤝🏼Chef’s kiss, i hope you guys enjoy this when you get to it! Rhys and Bridget are AMAZING. Obsessed! Day by day, inch by inch, she breaks down his defenses until he's faced with a truth he can no longer deny: he swore an oath to protect her, but all he wants is to ruin her. Take her. Josh literally sexualises Jules by calling her Jessica Rabbit, meaning this book is conforming to the stereotype of women being sexualised by men. I wish there was more variety (?) when it comes to the personalities of the guys. Everyone except for Josh (and Rhys sometimes) was a “tough and broody” guy. They were all really dominant and possessive (personally i don’t like possessive guys, but if that rows your boat, this is a good series for that). I do wish one of guys weren’t dominant just so it was something different, but even then, the books were enjoyable.
