The game play is much better than AC in so many ways but be prepared to loose many hours if not days, to your Xbox. Being the Game of The Year Edition it also gets past Microsoft's sharp practice of "paying extra for stuff that should be included anyway". You'd be a fool to expect the same graphical fidelity as Unity or Syndicate, but it's still a stunning looking game. This one is immense though with stunning graphics and awesome gameplay, the only thing I would note on is the swordplay which is quite a bit different to the first game, and personally I prefer the other swordplay. Assassin’s Creed 2 is an epic story of family, vengeance and conspiracy set in the pristine, yet brutal, backdrop of a Renaissance Italy.The quests are inventive although the "follow but don't be seen" ones can get annoying, but they're necessary in the story and don't really have much of an impact compared to the rest of the game. some of the later timed sections change the camera angles at random - very annoying, but ups the challenge. Assassin’s Creed II on PS3 offers more varied missions than the first episode, new weapons and a character progression system. Really cheap as well for what it is, even though this is a fairly old game you would't be able to tell! I have played this game after Red Dead Redemption and was looking for a simiular experience, however this game does not manage this, hence the 4 star rating.I would recommend that you build up the muscles in your wrist, as you will be doing a lot of jumping, dodging and fighting throughout the game. I am just loving the double assasination with my dual blades, and i never seem to tire of diving into a hay stack from the highest tower i can find.
