I used turtlewax on a neighbours car the other week as i knew anything would improve the cars state, plus i wanted to get rid of it out of my cleaning cupboard so used it up on their car and it did an amazing job. White spirit will do an adequate job at cleaning some paints, mainly oil based paints, off of brushes. It will not however remove any previous staining caused by the mould, the best chance at removing these stains is with a diluted bleach wash- however mould stains are notoriously difficult to remove so this still may not work. As our fillers contain cement there may be issues when over painting with a pH sensitive emulsion paint, these paints are normally light blue and the high pH of the cement can cause shadowing as the paint dries.The wash side of the product works very well and removed dust and fingerprints from my paintwork and glass in just one application.
