The Olight Warrior 3 is an excellent tactical torch, that is light and compact enough to be carried as an EDC.

Olight includes an MCC3magnetic charging cable, and it doesn’t accept any older MCC’s. They use a proprietary charging system to guarantee the best possible performance and safety. Charging with the cable takes about 3 hours, but the green light will indicate the end of charge, but it’s not 100% charged yet. When the light turns green, the battery is about 95% charged. The same type of sensor is built into the Olight Warrior Mini 2, Olight Marauder 2, and probably a few more.The Warrior 3 has two sets of features that are noteworthy. The fact that it is built for tactical use is something that needs to be considered. Further to add, this is one DURABLE flashlight. Not only is it impact resistant, but it is also waterproof. I do not advise doing this, but just want to make clear that these aren’t some sort of magic batteries. Olight’s knurling is one of its unique features. It’s not using the traditional diamond-shaped knurling, but one that I can’t explain, lol. There are no sharp edges or blemishes to be found. The tailcap is the only part on this light that can be unscrewed, and it has a nice amount of lube. The threads are anodized and screw very smooth.

Partially pressing the tail switch button activates level 3 (200 lumens), deactivation is by partially pressing the button again. Fully pressing the button activates level 1(2300 lumens), fully pressing the button again switches the torch off.

Only Turbo, High, and Medium modes are tested. Medium had a runtime of almost 13 hours, and Low mode is according to specs 180 hours, or 7.5 days. Moon mode has a runtime of up to 55 days according to the specifications. Apart from that, the medium mode hits the perfect middle ground when it comes to brightness and runtime, 200 lumens for 13 hours, that amount of light and runtime also make this a worthy everyday carry light. Olight always presents a unique design for each flashlight they create. They also try to change the design just slightly between different generations. They all perform very close, except for the initial output of the M2R PRO which is considerably lower. But during the runtime, you would be hard-pressed to see any difference in person.
