I really liked both characters in this book. Taylor Jenkins Reid always creates characters that are flawed and relatable and I liked how neither Lauren or Ryan were completely in the wrong. I could understand their frustrations and it showed how easy it can be to struggle in a marriage, especially if communication isn’t there. By midnight the party will be completely out of control. By morning, the Riva mansion will have gone up in flames. Monique begins to feel a very real connection to the legendary star, but as Evelyn’s story near its conclusion, it becomes clear that her life intersects with Monique’s own in tragic and irreversible ways.but there is something about TAYLOR JENKINS REID.... where I swear to God, she becomes an addiction!!!!
