It actually seems like some effort was put into the sound design for this show, adding to its enjoyment on DVD. Then follows a shot which looks like the kiss sequence from the first Spiderman movie, followed by a side view.

For the second season of "Drawn Together" the producers again were forced to create a censored TV version. There's nothing here that will make you have to do any serious tweaking to your surround sound system but the audio does do its job. One of the interesting things you notice while watching Drawn Together, especially when you have these extended versions, is that the characters never really get very interesting.

Viewing this 2 DVD set on a Panasonic progressive scan DVD player connected to a 45 inch HDTV monitor, the episodes looked better here than they did when they originally ran on Comedy Central. Since the animation was originally created for television and doesn't feature the kind of jarring action in some animated series, there really aren't any major problems to speak of with the transfer. Ling Ling is considered by many to be the most popular character on Drawn Together; fun fact, Ling Ling will secrete a psychedelic sweat when disappointed. This is a small collection of high-res Drawn Together images that I mixed with a DJ Richie Hawtin set. Captain Hero: "I guess it goes without saying, I wasn't about to sling some yogurt on an unconscious woman's feet.

Drawn Together Babies– This entire episode is in flashback, with droll commentary by a stuffy old man with a pipe. Our resources are crucial for knowledge lovers everywhere—so if you find all these bits and bytes useful, please pitch in. Billed as "the first animated reality series", Drawn Together immediately went after the same raw comedic nerve that has been exploited by the boys over at South Park for nearly 10 years. Ray stays hidden in the walls of the house, and develops an unhealthy attraction to Toot (an aging Betty Boop type). Drawn Together is fun but still falls short of being the next South Park, which is what Comedy Central was kind of hoping they'd get when they commissioned the series.

There's game that can be played in both censored and uncensored mode (both of which are a lot of fun), deleted scenes and a karaoke sing along. Captain Hero gets a nipple ring like Xandir, gets struck by lightning, and communicates with himself in the past. While Drawn Together doesn't always work, the series still has enough entertaining moments to make it worth your time if you're looking for decent mood elevator.
