Fans of the anime series “Devils Line” are eagerly awaiting the release of Season 2. After a thrilling first season filled with mystery and action, it’s time to dive once again into the dark and captivating universe of this series. In this article, we’ll reveal everything you need to know about the Season 2 release date, upcoming storylines, and cast. Hang on, because this new season promises to be even more intense and full of twists and turns. Devils Line: The Anime Devils Line

A sniper is out for revenge. Another random passing half-devil helps Anzai to recover by giving him a taste of blood. Tsukasa and Anzai’s relationship will inevitably keep growing. Tsukasa will eventually go and introduce Anzai to her parents. They even discuss their future and potential marriage together. Sadly though, the manga doesn’t go far enough into the future to give fans a wedding scene. It's weird, it's creepy, it's dark, and it's pretty dang good. It isnotwhat you imagine when you think "vampire romance." The most obvious difference is that the romantic subplot (vampire cop guy and non-vampire girl) and the nonromantic subplot (shadowy organization trying to genocide vampires, who make up about .01% of the population) get roughly equal attention. The story may even be biased slightly towards the non-romantic plot. And the non-romantic plot is strong enough to stand on its own as a compelling story. a b c d e f g "Devils' Line English Dub Cast Revealed Ahead of Saturday Premiere". Anime News Network. The story is just really great. Kaneki Ken's long lost vampire brother wants to drink human blood, but not because he is a pervert or hungry, but because if he does not, he turns into a monster

If a second season were to see the light of day, it is very likely that the original cast of the anime will return, thus enriching the plot with new characters. “Devils Line” is, after all, based on a popular manga that captivated its readership with a complex plot and deeply developed characters. Devils' Line Anime Reveals Teaser Video, Character Visuals". Anime News Network. January 24, 2018 . Retrieved January 24, 2018. Solltet ihr das Manga gelesen habe und den Anime schauen wollen aber Angst davor haben enttäuscht zu werden kann euch zumindest für die ersten drei Episoden sagen, dass der Anime nach an der Vorlage bleibt und ihr ihn mit ruhigem Gewissen schauen könnt. Für alles ab Episode vier übernehme ich keine Verantwortung 😀 The setting was nice, too -- the story occurs mostly during winter/Christmas, additionally with very minute character interactions, so it's very soft and quiet. Mixed with the plot's slight darkness, it created a really great atmosphere that played on the loneliness of Anzai and Tsukasa, as well as their time together. (I feel like the Japanese just really understand this concept of "winter loneliness" so well! I notice a lot of mangaka use winter in their stories in this way, and it's one of my favorites styles.) The action sequences always seemed to come at the end of each chapter, so we were allowed some downtime in-between to appreciate the "stillness" of the world.

At the end of it all, is Devil’s Line a worthy “Twilight: The Animation”? Certainly not, and it doesn’t come close to touching anything that is noteworthy nor remembering about. I’d guess for die-hard fans of Twilight, give this series a try and see how fast it sweeps you off so much that it becomes unwatchable.

Vampires are referred to as "devils" and they certainly look like them when they transform. Like Bella with Edward Cullen, Tsukasa can tell when he has or hasn't fed by his eyes: he gets this sunken-in, baggy-eyed look when he hasn't had blood, which makes more sense than eyes changing color (although when he turns, his eyes become blood-shot). Also like Edward, he lurks around outside her balcony and watches her sleep, and Tsukasa is fascinated by him because he craves her blood and must resist. Vampires seem to be living among humans. Outwardly, they appear nearly identical to humans, so the general public does not know of their existence. They also do not need to drink blood, but when they get a craving or get angry, they can become uncontrollable monsters. A couple more characters are introduced in this volume, adding a little more complexity to the setting and/or story, but, on the whole, this is pure entertainment with plenty of light touches to counterbalance the horror.

Background

All in all, a second season could give us a balanced mix of action, mystery, and romance, while deepening the characters we’ve come to love. So, fingers crossed that the producers give the green light to this long-awaited second season of Devils Line. Who will be in charge of the production of season 2 of Devils Line? Devils Line So naturally, when I go to the manga shop “just for a browse” and I’ve been jonesing for something a bit dark, with maybe some slow burn and a tiny bit of tortured tension or “it’s so bad it’s good”, I am BOUND to come out with something. A sequel manga series titled Devils' Line II: Gyakushū began serialization in the same magazine in the March 2022 issue on January 20, 2022. [14] Platinum Vision started in 2016, so it’s still pretty young compared to the producers. According to Myanimelist, they’ve only animated about 11 anime. A couple of their animated shows are Kono Oto Tomare!, Servamp, and Koroshi Ai The vampire lore was kind of cool? But it will definitely need more development in future volumes. In fact, I think that's another reason I rated it lower. The dialogue/story jumps between chapters were a little confusing, and I can't tell if it was because of a bad translation, or the writing itself. But I think the characters definitely make up for it -- Anzai especially! (He just hit all the right notes for me -- I'm excited for more of his story!) And I got attached to Anzai and Tsukasa pretty easily. Even though Anzai was the "white knight" to Tsukasa's damsel-in-distress a few times, he wasn't patronizing about it, which was very refreshing. You can tell Anzai is aware of how hard a human/vampire relationship will be, but that he wants to be with Tsukasa if he can/she wants him to be. He cares for Tsukasa in a way that allows her the choice to either continue or stop the relationship. I just like that he basically starts hanging out with her because they both know they're lonely. It was sweet.
